@@markisee I rode my Interceptor on gravel roads up in Ruahine Rangers with road tyre's went well & handled it well & go real good with town/country tyre's.Your bike has the Scrambler headers that'll give it some go & have you got on/off road tyre's too? I would be going real slow on my Trident 🔱 on the gravel compared to when I rode Interceptor on gravel. My Trident 🔱 with Quick Shifter stock pipes is way faster than my heavy Interceptor was on the road but do miss the character of Interceptor but had to get a lighter bike cause of health reasons.
@@ruahinesrider yeah I have shinko 700’s on the bike - you are right it is heavy- in the winter the metal roads are a lot easier to ride as not so slippery… summer gravel can be a nightmare 😵💫
Gee Mark you sure do get around NZ 🇳🇿.I been watching you for awhile & watched some if your older videos too when I found you.Central North Island,Lower North Island, Wanganui area doing tours on bikes,South Island rides it all makes for some great content & shows some of NZ 🇳🇿 treasures less traveled.Great to watch.
Don't see to many Harley's coming through here😆😁😂 Mention gravel to the Harley boy's they start moaning don't even like going on some sealed back roads😆😁😂🤣.
Mark...you obviously don't slow down for gravel!...and you must have great faith in your tyres; some of those dark areas looked decidedly damp and slippery!....I can never trust leaning too much in the wet...see you soon.
Nice to hear the gentle purr of the Interceptor😊
Primo ride., cheers for sharing. 👍👍
That’s pretty awesome Mark, can’t wait to ride through these tunnels one day
Cheers 😎

Just have faith mate… if you end up on the ground… then so be it but those 700 tyres are pretty good 👍
Much more slippery in the dry mate - summer can be very slippery on the loose gravel
