How many times can a high priority 4c use protein treatment
I use to use that hair mayonnaise alll the time back in the day. Its bomb.

Tam Kam understandable I’ll let go of products also especially when I get my hair to a certain level of health
Do you use a rinse out conditioner before applying the mayo or do you apply the mayo right after shampooing?
I use it right after shampooing. I do this because i want the protein treatment on clean hair plus my hair shaft is open to absorb the product.

Dayna Bledsoe I use a protein treatment whenever my hair feels damaged and brittle. It really helps reboot your hair strands and builds them while taking the appropriate measures to keep your hair healthy. I don’t do it often so maybe 3-4x a year. It depends on your hair but I would space it to every 6wks if needed.

Patricia Thembi yes I use it on wet shampooed hair. So that the product can penetrate my hair.
When you washed out the protein treatment did you condition afterwards?
Yes I sure did in order to bring back some moisture!

sandy tuoroo it’s quick and easy compared to a diy plus it gets the job done. It’s also very affordable. I like diy but sometimes they miss what you need in order to get the results you need.

My Aunt & Nana alway used this all the time after they permed my hair. I loved that it smelled like starbursts to me. Lol
Hate that I’m just seeing this but it’s a product that’s been round for a while and I never thought it smelled like starburst but then again 🤔.

can u tell me the difference between shedding and breakage please??
Shedding is from the root of your head and you should see a white bulb on the end which will signify the hair came out from your scalp. Breakage means that the hair snapped along the strand and tends to be shorter than shed hair. Hope that helps 😊

how regularly do y'all use this hair treatment?
Mbanjo I use this in my hair when I feel my hair is at its weakest and I’ve tried moisturizers and cutting my ends but it didn’t work. Typically when my hair is dull and lost it’s elasticity I know it’s time.

Ekwughaa Cynthia no not at all. Leaving it in at night would be too harsh on your hair in my opinion. A protein treatment only needs to be in at the most for me 30 mins.

I don't put wash out conditioner in my hair. I just put deep conditioner in and rinse it out then I put leave in in my hair.
But it doesn't work in my hair i bought 2 of them Mayonnaise and deep conditioner but uuugh nothing happens on my hair
If that doesn't work and you are looking for something to strengthen your hair another good protein treatment is the Aphogee Protein treatment. Its amazing, you can also use the Aztec clay mask which revitalizes you hair in order for you to start over.

I wouldn’t because it’s protein and protein at this concentration could be damaging.

I wouldn't, too much protein is not good from my understanding. You can look up protein overload.

Hi is it safe to use on kids , I have a 3 year old
Tiffany Cundiff personally I wouldn’t use it on a 3 year old. Children are more sensitive to chemicals this strong. I’d use a more sensitive formula or something natural
