It's Drip! Awesome to see a new episode! I think this area is an interesting start to the account and different from other chunkers. Crossing my fingers that you get that bank in your next chunk roll! Great episode and I'm excited to see what you roll next.
What I love about Kourend and Valamore, in terms of the map, is the npc placements. I love the little camps of npcs. The direwolves, the hill giants, the bandits, necromancers... etc. I make up my own stories onto why they are there and why certain items are there. The direwolves is quite easy but it is amazing to me how close to the road they are. Easy human picking? Hmmm. One thing that I do kinda dislike is where deposit boxes/banks are located. On mainland, they are practically really close by to one another (in terms of looking at the map, how to access them is different). Banking, in terms of item specific bank such as the coal minecarts in Seer Village, is an example that could be used on Kourend/Valamore. The two churches/temples south of Outer Fortis and south of Stonecutter outpost would be nice to have. I am not saying "ADD THESE NOW" it is more of a food for thought.
Yeah, the world building/map design around Varlamore is fantastic. I really like the path around the outside city wall and the silly little cave next to the hunters guild. I think the bank placements are fairly decent but I do wish there was a deposit box or something near the south eastern coast mine or maybe near the wyrm remains. Assuming you get all the quetzal unlocks you're never really THAT far away from banking but it's tedious and pretty bad if you wanted to mine a bunch of ore for example.
Nice video. This time is a good amount if it means regular uploads. Much prefer it over the 50+ minute ones. Also, how the hell did it take this long to get the first clog from random events lol that's crazy
Really enjoying the series so far. I have one suggestion, take it or leave it. I personally play with a lot of plugins enabled, but when watching videos, the extra bits like aggression timers, loot beams, object highlighting, and skilling tracker can be a little distracting from the actual content you are showing. I'm not sure where you land on that for content creation.
I think it depends on the context of the clip. The one bit in this video where I had a loot beam covering my character is the actual worst case scenario, but in most other situations it's just super nice QOL for me grinding the game. I'll try and optimize it to be less distracting in the future.
