@@IM2awsme Switching engines at this point wouldn't be a smart move, it would basically be a restart of development and considering that it's being developed by people donating their free time development is slow enough as it is.
i think the game is just amazing for what it has. i love the little detail on the shotgun with the Griffon and how they did the radio music. they've got some fairly professional people helping them with that like Adam Sporka (He did part of the Kingdom Come soundtrack). Of all the sort of Fan games to come from the fandom. this one has the best shot at actually finishing
yeah it's absolutely astounding how much potential this has, if it gets a giant update I'll gladly do a follow-up

Man I remember hearing about this game a LONG time ago. Never knew what happened with it. Honestly I didn't expect it to be even this polished lol. If you're interested in checking out another pony mod, look into Equestria at War for Hearts of Iron 4. Its of the same quality as Old World Blues (the Fallout mod) and Kaiserreich, if not better.

yeah, while not totally done it is super incredible that they got the game working this much! Falllout Equestria is easily my top 5 fanfics from MLP! They're doing another printing run soon and I'md reaaaalllly thinking about a set...

I have always wanted to make my own game based on the FoE story, not as visually detailed as AoE, maybe more like Wasteland 2 (where I have a squad of Littlepip, Calamity, Velvet and Xenith) with a top down perspective. I've made simpler 2D games before.

Just found this on a whim of searching for fallout equestria stuff because I'm reading Project Horizons right now. Fun to see, I remember playing two in-development games YEARS ago but never heard of this one. You two remind me of Two Best Friends Play though, I love it. Feels like old youtube, thanks for "buying" this and sharing with the class.
I know I'm late to the party, but I would suggest you to play Fallout Equestria: Remains if you haven't already. It's really well done for what it is and a complete game.

@@TheCrumplezoneThat's be cool honestly! Fallout: Equestria - Remains is, in my opinion, better game than Ashes of Equestria -- currently at least. You'd be hard pressed to find a polished FoE game than Remains!

I'm a little disappointed the Timberwolf didn't reassemble itself after it died.
If you like this, you need to check out Fallout Equestria: Remains. It's a completed 2D Fallout pony game with good customization, fully working skills, perks, story, everything. Despite being a 2D platformer it manages to be super interesting, and even unique - it has Magic and Telekinesis skills. The Magic skill is kinda self-explanatory, as spells count as weapons, but the Telekinesis skill not only introduces interesting movement options, but you can literally throw things like boxes, storage crates, and even enemies. While you are still holding a weapon.
Unfortunately, Speech is not a big part of it, but everything else makes up for it.
This is interesting but the last thing I expected on this channel

I don't remember if the engine it self is fallout or did they start from scratch but all gun models and animations should be fully self made from the ground up if I remember correctly. But that is what I remember :D they have videos about that stuff on youtube if you are interested about it Edit: Old videos

Be cool if the raiders would try to bite the player getting in close like that n’ all. It’s subject to change but their expressions are so dead stiff and it would be cool for them to be more animated.

@@Petq011 there are a ton of super good MLP mods for Civ IV that are super cool. There's also one that lets you play as Galia and it is suuuuper strong
