Never thought I'd burn several seconds of my life typing 'for the alogirthim' what about burning several seconds of your life supporting interesting FOE content? Fuck yeah I'll do that.
Gun triggers can be set to have a lighter pull; to the point barely touching it will set it off. It isn’t safe that way, but you could certainly adjust a trigger to be take less force than a human tongue to set off; drop test has absolutely nothing to do with this fact.
Ngl this is really cool and I would LOVE if you made more of this. As it isn't really easy to find the nitty gritty details of Foe without taking a deep dive trough reddit.
TL, DW: "Horsies, even Ponies, STRONK!" At the very least for Small Arms it would be Clear neither Pulling the Trigger nor the Recoil would form a Problem. Now Reloading however...
@@FiauraTheTankGirlGamer Magazines Sure, I can see that. But bullets in a revolver? Or just putting bullets in a magazine? I have no Clue how they would do that without Thumbs & Fingers or Telekinesis. Still does not detract from the Great Stories.
...For the Algorithm Interesting idea, and it makes sense for ponies without magic, but it would be so interesting to see how they actually manufacture those guns as hoofed ponies.
I uhhh don’t think you can….from what I read weapons are fired with the operator’s tongue…..this would simply cause all of their teeth to shatter from the recoil….or possibly even cause their jaw to break completely Pistols would be impossible to operate unless they are a unicorn and the “battle saddle” would have no way of actually working because there is no way to make the gun fire
You don't know how horses biology works do you? They have a section of the mouth referred to as the bit where there are no teeth and it's where you put the bit that you attach reigns to. Their jaws and necks are so durable by applying pressure to this by a human being cannot apply enough pressure to this area to cause pain. In Fallout: Equestria terms, this is where the gun and by extension, the recoil part for a pistol is directed. Long arms have a shoulder mount that leads down to the shoulder by which the pony applies it's shoulder into that mount to both steady the weapon and give a place for recoil to hit.
@@FiauraTheTankGirlGamer in my eyes the “equestrians” are biologically different when compared to earth horses. They are very similar but the tensile strength of their muscles is different compared to earth horses which have been used for riding, and for pulling carts. I believe equestrians are also smaller….. Celestia herself only stands as tall as a full grown man. (At least from what I read) I’m actually surprised I got a response 0-0 Also apologies if I’m coming off as harsh….I’ve been doing an RP with one of my friends and one of the things that came up was how to arm the equestrian military and how our characters should hold guns. I’ve never actually watched any MLP though if I recall I saw that the ERG (equestrian Royal Guard) used spears and even held them at rest when at attention
AkChUaLly, ponies have smaller heads than horses, and therefore have smaller muscles to hold back the recoil. 😎 In seriousness, tho, this was an awesome analysis, and something I never thought would fascinate me. Never realized just how strong horse heads (& tongues!) actually were! 🤣
Just because something wouldn't break a horse's mout, mandible, teeth, neck etc. doesn't mean it wouldn't hurt it. Real horses are much more fragile than those numbers make it seem. The video does a good job at explaining how santient horses may use a gun, but the whole "horses are super strong and rarely feel any pain irl" sentiment was distracting and slightly enraging.
I did not say they don't feel pain, I did say you would NOT hurt a horse no matter how hard you as a human being yanked on the bridle. You might irritate the horse enough it kicks you or bucks you off.
Haven't seen anything FoE related in a while, and definitely wasn't expecting a lore video on jt

11 bang bang, I'm more than well aware how firearms work. Remember I have to analyze this for the person who has no idea how Guns work

Now to explain how they make all that stuff, (guns, gears, syrineges, electronics), without opposable thumbs. :)
i think the algorithm is blessing this video, i was just wondering on youtube trying to find some good stuff, and i found it.

If they designed a pump action shotgun with a slot for a hoof instead of a handle, what makes you think magazines wouldn't be designed similarly?

It occurs to me that the stock might be shaped more like an arch to transfer the recoil impulse...
