    Why encrypt it then if it is free? I think they will want people to pay for the sub channels that are free now. I find myself watching the sub channels way more than the main .1 channel.

    ATSC 3.0 weakness is drm Encryption.

    That was a great interview you asked a lot of questions that we've all been wonderin about the pay TV thing. But only one station has to stay true to ATSC 1.0. I do think the intention is to buy some substations and make them pay-per-view pay-per-view.

      There are endless options with the new standard. We will have to wait and see what ATSC decides to do in the future.
