Shoot! Looks like YakFace was missing the last "0" in the Walmart Archive SKU of 988499410! That is why checking Archive didn't work in this video. Archive does in fact work for Walmart using Brickseek. -Justin
Thanks for the advice
No problem, Blazecap! Thanks for checking out the video. -Justin
yakface is very good to use. when they posted wave 31 of the black series was back up on hasbro pulse, i snagged my boba, fennec and miggs figures. would have gotten bib fortuna as well. but, i think i will wait till payday.
YakFace is the goat for sure! Thanks for watching, Joseph. -Justin
I’ll start using this for Walmart on the lookout for wave 31
Dope! Good luck on the hunt, Infernal. -Justin
Brickseek has done me good multiple times.
I successfully found a fresh case of the Tech/Koska wave back when you could not find them anywhere.
Yep even though that wave is super common I snagged it months before a lot of other people as you mentioned. Same with the previous Bad Batch wave! Thanks for watching as always, Commander Marsh. -Justin
Wish I had seen a video like this a few years ago. I’ve definitely had to learn this through trial and error. But there was a few things you pointed out that I still didn’t know so that was very helpful. More often than not brick seek will suddenly show 6+ I go there and the Walmart staff show the same thing on their hand scanners but then no one has any idea where it actually is. I always figure there’s somebody hiding it in the back until they get off work.
Hey that's awesome to hear that there was some information in the video that you didn't previously know! And yeah that's really frustrating. My local Walmart has been showing 6+ on Brickseek and their own personal inventory for well over a month but the case is just...nowhere to be found. Probably lost in the back somewhere because if it was someone hiding it I feel like they would've bought them by now. Or maybe someone just stole the case, lol. Thanks for watching, Gyros! -Justin
Good info. Pre-covid searches used to be so much more accurate. Also recently...6+ now means 6+ Lando's. 😆
True especially PopFindr. It used to work so well! -Justin
Bloody hell J! I watched this gone midnight but it still seems very complicated! Makes me appreciate that in England we just go to a shop, rarely find anything, then order everything we want on trusted online retailers who have preorders up for days continuously! Go England for collectors!!!!
I mean we have plenty of trusted online retailers over here as well but I do enjoy finding things in the wild if I can! Gotta use whatever means necessary. Appreciate you checking out the video as always, David! Take care. -Justin
@@OutOfTheBasement No worries buddy. I would also enjoy hunting figures if I could find them more than once every 4 months! Top advice video my friend.
Nice info Justin. Whish i had this type of info back in 2013/14 when hunting and was a new collector.
Briskseek and popfindr for me are a gamble but any tool thats free and can slight the odds for us collectors is great.
👍👍
Right! It was around that time that Nate and I worked at the movie theater and he was a manager always on the computer checking Brickseek, lol. Miss those late night hunts! Thanks for watching, Fig. -Justin
I’ve learnt something today! cool vid Justin cheers dude.
Awesome, Tim! Thank you. -Justin
I have been collecting for 28 years, and 14 days. But I was strictly a Marvel and DC 6" Collector, and didn't start collecting Black series until January 2020. Just now starting to get something of a collection in them. I use mine a bit different than most people, at least at the moment. I use Aliens and Stormtroopers as Thanos Army, human males as Kingpin Organization, women as a their own team, the Female Furies, and Mandalorians as Hi-Tech Mercenaries who fight the Avengers in a display. I never collected 3.75 much.
Interesting way to display them, that’s for sure! Thanks for watching! -Nate
Great advice, help and tips for new and more hardened collectors, any kind of help goes a very long way.I just got my shipping confirmation of the Hot Toys Ahsoka, the figure has been pushed back sooo many times but finally she is here and i can not wait.Great episode Justin, thank you for sharing your help and advice😎
No problem, Boba! Thanks for checking out the video. Enjoy the new Ahsoka! -Justin
Thanks for properly showing me how to use this, as I never actually knew how to, I mean it's not rocket science, but still appreciate it. The bad thing is that there aren't too many places to shop that I consider nearby. Oh well. Great video. 👍
Glad I could help, Mitch! Thanks for checking it out. -Justin
Ayyeee you guys listened to my comment! Thank you so much!
No problem, xRyan! Thanks for watching. 👍🏻 -Justin
Thanks Justin. Hey you mentioned figure “hiders”? What’s the reason/strategy for people doing that? - William
Justin may have a better answer but I believe people hide figures in order to watch prices on eBay. When the figure hits a high price they go back to the store and buy the item and then sell it. If the figure doesn’t hit a high price then they never go back to get it. It’s a way to have inventory without expense and risk. And obviously a shitty practice.
The idea is that they can't afford it until a later date so they hide it somewhere in the store to come back to it. It's incredibly childish in my opinion. Collecting is a luxury and just because you can't afford something doesn't mean you're entitled to it. Thanks for watching, Tenley's World! -Justin
Take a shot everytime Justin says general release lol
Hey sometimes you gotta be extra thorough when explaining things to people. 😂 -Justin
your honor this man playing roblox
I knew someone would notice that! 😂 For what it’s worth I have that downloaded for my nephew. I’m more of a Minecraft man myself. 💎 ⛏ -Justin
@@OutOfTheBasement ay no shame if you're sneakin in a couple matches of halo or counter-strike on there
I do love me some Master Chief Collection! -Justin
It doesn't work in urban areas
Weird, it works for Chicago which is the 3rd largest city in the US. But yeah I'm not surprised that it wouldn't work in certain areas. Everyone seems to have a different experience with it. -Justin
@@OutOfTheBasement I feel like the inventories are never even remotely correct in Philly. Either that or they all make their way out the back door LOL
Great information. These sites can be very RANDOM..so i love them for that😂😂
Yes they are! Thanks for watching, Random Task. -Justin
