How this kid is still alive is beyond me. My parents would have killed me if I spoke to the Principal that way. Times have changed and not for the better.
Also I love how respectful the principle was and the teacher at trying to help jesse. Haft of the time they just don’t care but this principle and this teacher really do care and really did put effort into it.
Mr. Olson seems to have humble, calm, as well a fair and balanced personality with humour. The student is being a brat in which I describe one who is unpleasant and incorrigible.
@@andrewcarey5359 Well he is described as a brat. The very term for being unpleasant, and incorrigible. I don't like using the term brat, and it's not used as often. Being disrespectful, and rude is what one is described to be.
I remember having multiple incidents with this one teacher senior year. Class would be talking during free time in homeroom when it was allowed, I'm not the loud type, but she just didn't like me. I'd talk to my friend and she'd go at me. It was surreal cause we would be talking at a decently medium level. You could hear others over us. The class even noticed it. She'd send me to detention. After a while of that, when she'd sent me we'd argue before I left. The dean started noticing her habits.
If this was Coach Lamb from Wills Point High School, he would say to Jesse “imma put you in my on campus suspension room till I get tired of you being in there”. He would not be calm and he would not take Jesse’s disrespect.
I agree with you. Coach Lamb is a lot tougher than Mr. Costello. If Coach Lamb was handling this disciplinary referral, Jesse definitely would have received a consequence a lot tougher than a Saturday School detention. Coach Lamb would give Jesse several days of in school suspension, and Coach Lamb would say things like if it happens again, that he would put Jesse in the on campus suspension room until he's tired of him being there.
@@bikerboy9010Mr Tague, Dean Arritt or Dr Caswell would probably suspend him for 2 days at minimum. He’s lucky Mr Costello was the one who had to deal with him and not any of them. Just Saturday detention for that he got off easy maybe too easy since he’s a troubled kid to start with
Saturday detention for this was very generous, it definitely seems like he’s a troubling kid and it’s not his first Rodeo being disciplined. It should’ve been a suspension
@Spazbo3 - These are the kids who end up incapable of holding down a dead end job because the boss doesn't have to keep them around like Principal Costello.
once in my school 2 guys got into a arguement and one guys dad was in prison at the time and the other guy said "Why not tell your dad oh wait hes in prison" and the other dude just flipped out and eventually the principal came to break it up and the guy whos dad was in prison accidently punched her in the face LOL he was suspended for 3 weeks while the other dude got 3 days suspension
i went to mr olsen principal office to talk about stuff, i wasn't suspended, just needed to talk. i went to the offfice the other day because i was bullied from the kids from spanish class. so, Mr. Olson took me to mr. lorenz's class instead, that was the year after. probably 2 years.
This boy is nice he is Frank and has a strong personality knows what he wants. He should be moved to another class otherwise problems would aggrivate between him and the teacher.
in all realness i had an awful time at school. specifically due to a select few teachers. No way was i a good kid, but receiving constant comments from teachers "gunna be homeless" "im a mess" blah blah blah. talked to our head, he basically told me off for wasting his time. Spent two weeks noting all of the comments from 1 teacher, went for another meeting: literally 15 pages of terrible statements. He told me to grow up. ~Went to CAB (UK), they told me that the school had a duty of care, that the way i was being treated was completely unacceptable. (1st of two letters) The next day they sent me a letter, signed by a lawyer, spelling this out. After this, I got moved set and this teacher was told not to speak to me. The school seems to always take the teachers side: there are some awful teachers. You need to treat the students the same, simple as.
hes gonna learn really quickly who he'll have to show respect to if he goes on like that. i dont get why its so difficult for some kids to stay out of trouble. really immature. its crazy he made it to senior year
@sneakers55 Me too - I don't know his qualifications and have no idea whether he'll be successful or not. People tend to mature significantly after high school and once you get a job and learn the specifics of the industry they work in - that's the true judge of their caliber. He doesn't seem college bound, although that doesn't mean he's doomed for failure. But I agree with you - if he gives his boss the same attitude he did the principal and teacher, he'll be out a job very quickly.
@BeAnBeAn22 - If he can stay out of the judicial system. The kid who acted closest to this one when I went to school is on a long-term stay with the State Department of Corrections.
This kid's belligerent attitude toward a teacher who deserves a medal for putting up with him, is disgraceful. In 23 years of teaching, I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with similar behavior from several students (despite my best efforts to teach and care about them). Sad.

D. Jesse needs to get the crap kicked out of him.
