Decided to refresh on my head fundamentals but I wanted to ask. How would you go about changing the rules for different head shapes? For example, if I’m drawing someone younger or a male with a longer jaw?
So when breaking things into 3rds it’s more of a subjective thing right, when should look at the space and try to divide it in into 3rds according to ones personal perception, correct? There’s no way to necessarily get perfect thirds ?

The proportions can be distorted in any way you want. This is just an average.

Correct. This is just an average. Things may shift around on any individual.
