    Thank you, I like the way you looped the cord through the handle and put the wacker plug through the power cord loop to keep it from disconnected.

    Its so powerful! Benn using it for a year now. No complains. Replace the head with quick feed and much better. You might need a heavy duty trimmer line

    Lol people complain about vibration 😂 I say that's a good weed eater nice and strong should have vibrations if strong

      I had some ssue with vibration also. I returned it got a new one. I am very happy with new replacement. I would have given perfect 5 but decided to give 4.7 for not having variable speed at least 2 speed, high and low.

    June 2024 . . . my 8 year old Greenworks corded string trimmer head busted. There is NO REPLACEMENT per Greenworks. I now have an EGO battery string trimmer.

    Thank you for this video. I have gotten tired of trying to reload the string on the less expensive ones. loading the string line seems to be very easy. I need it for rimming and places I cannot reach with a lawnmower. This will be my next purchase

    Take out the grease plug in the head and add grease with a 6ml syringe every season.

    How do you get the spool out? I keep doing the spool but it doesn’t come out.
    Do you have to press in then turn? Thanks.

    Hey, Does Anyone Know if You Can Put The Edger Head That Holds the 3 Plastic Blades On this? I Want to Edge My Lawn And Other Things And I Like The Plastic Blades Better Than the String Especially for Edging the Lawn.

    Thanks for the video! I just bought this same model and am going to use it for the first time today. I'm hoping the string lasts a long time before having to refill. Can I buy 0.080 string or does it have to be a special kind?

    Thank you for the live-action video review. Very helpful. Been considering this unit. What length and gauge of power cord(s) have you been using?

    • @sliversurfer1
      @sliversurfer1  6 лет назад +1

      You are welcome! I use two Extension Cord a cheap 10m(I ruined too many good extension cords with my hedge trimmer) and a Heavy Gauge 15A 20m from outlet to cheap cord.

      Go to Harbor Freight. They have right cord.

    Thanks for the video! Is this the GW 21142? I'm currently using the Black and Decker MTE912 and looking to upgrade, mainly for the size. This is the one that caught my eye because it has dual spool (the B&D has single) and cuts 18" (B&D does 10"). How loud is it? I saw your issue with the weeds getting tangled in the trimmer. I've read this is a common issue but you were doing pretty heavy weeds. Do you have this tanglement issue with just regular grass? Also, I know it varies depending on what you're cutting but on average, how often do you have to bump feed?

    • @sliversurfer1
      @sliversurfer1  6 лет назад +1

      Yes same model.. It is powerful for an electric trimmer so there is enough noise that you might not hear your phone but not enough to warrant hearing protection. Bump feed varies but I have recently put an ugly head trimmer attachment on it.

    Is it still holding up? I just ordered one and haven’t gotten it yet. I have some really dense clover type stuff in my yard. Will it work?

    Wow, thanks! Thinking about buying this on Amazon as soon as possible. I have read bad reviews so I’m a bit worried. Most complaints are about not being able to buy more string. Do you recommend? Do you still have it? Are you still able to buy string?

    Is the line spool replaceable or do you have to manually load the line to the spool?

    Good review. Is the shaft made of metal or plastic? Also, can you use just one trim line, instead of two?

    • @sliversurfer1
      @sliversurfer1  6 лет назад

      Thank you, It is metal Paul. I've tortured this thing it is tough. You could run one line If you fiddled with it.

      Mine arrived yesterday. It looks slightly different to yours - the trim head is all black. This thing is robust, indeed with plenty of power! I am very happy I bought this model.

    I tore my Achilles tendon and I was in a cast for 3 months. Then crutches for another month. There's no way you actually tore yours. BS.
