Now my friend is what I call a guy with GAMES
When I get a new pc will playnite save game hours and library and transfer it onto the new pc
Like how do I transfer playnite between 2 pc’s
@@TOXIC-tc7px I don't think u can, but I'm not one to rlly ask tbh, as I dont use playnite
@@TOXIC-tc7px I believe there is a portable version you can download. And all you would have to do is just copy the installation folder onto the new pc.
@@TOXIC-tc7px best practice: take a flash drive ( the larger gigabyte, the better) and make it portable… this way you can copy it many times over. It is important to put the roms/game/metadata within the appropriate folders. Once you set up Playnite and configure it how you want, you can just transfer (copy & paste) the files over to another flash drive. Also, a good controller to use is an Xbox controller. PlayNite is awesome and easy to set up, but I just started messing with Retrobat last month, which is an easy to set up with many visual elements, also can be put on a thumb drive

Hey thanks man this is exactly what I needed I have a massive collection of Nintendo roms but nobody wants to sit and watch me fiddle with menus and settings whenever we want to play wii sports bowling :D appreciate it.
Gonna try this latter today. Trying other front ends to see which one I like better. I've had Big Box/Launch Box for since 2020 and I like it, but I see other front ends and like them a lot. Eventually, I will make an arcade machine with a front end build. Thanks for all your videos. Straight to the point and great communication!

Protip, you can save the filter and it will be now a tab on Fullscreen mode.

@@daaddyo1249 someone with more know-how could probably find a complete solution but for me it came down to the emulator. Dolphin works with whatever profile you had it set to the last time you launched dolphin manually. P64 and snes9x were both borked though

Question can you add visual pinball and future pinball and also pinball fx3 and pinball fx2 to this front end at all?
I just installed playnite for the first time and entered all my authentication data.
It really gave me a headache to enter my Amazon access data in playnite.
But you are not doing that in the video.
Does that mean that you don't need to enter authentication data at all?

I downloaded some sega genesis games and an emulator for the playnite launcher but when I try to play a game I get this game error - cannot start game: emulator process cannot be started, make,sure that emulator paths are configured properly. I don't know how to do that? any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Whats the emulator? For Genesis I use Kega fusion and it will link to playnite just fine.

I was actually looking for a vid that shows how to set up Steam to import your entire library. I tried it before but got stuck on the 'Steam Account Tag' or something. I don't know how to do that. Regardless, I gave this vid a thumbs up.
