I saw this on my friend's children party as an arcade set up (he bought the arcade controllers and plug it with his big screen), and amazed by it. The reason i'm here doing research xd
Subbed ! Very well crafted and digestible video. Im buying a mini pc just for this reason. I look forward to more of your vids in my quest to have a great emulation experience.
Would just like to say thanks for the easy step by step chilled out approach. Made doing this very easy to follow, and understand even beyond what you explain. Keep up the good work
Same here. It's worth learning. And it's got style. Looks far better than retroarch and you can use standalone emulators which are often better and more up to date than Retroarch cores.
First time trying my own launchbox build after using batocera & retrobat. Great guides. Very helpfull clear & precise instruction thanks mate. Keep up the great work 😉👏👏👏
i keep getting this error message when installing Ds games "An error occurred while trying to import games: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
man I was loading in my roms and they were working great but for some reason it changed my emulator changed on some of my platforms and I dont know how to get it back to ori ginal.
Love these guides man! Question though. I recently got an Xbox Series S to use for emulation purposes mostly, and I want to play a handful of Original Xbox games on it. To properly use Xemu to play the games, can I run Xemu through Launchbox and then put Launchbox on my Series S? It just seems that Xemu is still in early dev and is mainly meant to be played on a PC. I’m trying to make this Series S of mine an all-in-one Emulator to be played in my living room on my TV.
Honestly, I don't know. I don't own an xbox any longer, but when I did, I had xemu running on it as a standalone. I'm not even sure launchbox can rum on xbox. i didn't try it.
@@UrCasualGamer gotcha. No problem at all, just looking for some insight so that still helps me choose to just attempt to try and put Xemu on my Series S as a stand alone app. Thanks!
CDromance is the absolute best place to grab all roms & emulators… & yes you’ll always need the correct console emulator installed to play it’s rom/iso games.. So make sure you have all the emulators you need already installed & configured on your PC, & separate folders to put games for each emulator… After all that, then you can setup LaunchBox to have it all neatly together in one place.
Wondering the same thing. I’m still having trouble finding bios files for the pcsx2 . I downloaded roms and emulator but having a very hard time even with his videos
@@UrCasualGamerright, that what have is that one MESEN with SNES and NES in one its sweet. I didn’t put it into Launchbox. I didn’t see a listing. Too me it confusing. :) have good day man
@Otherfile when I got my new pc, I went with Launchbox because it is quicker and easier to set up. But Coin ops is still great once you have it set up.
Man this blew my mind, having all my emulators/ROMs in one place. Thanks a bunch.

Launchbox is great, been using for years.
Isn’t this just retroarch but worse?
@@chaomasterzero4610 No its not an emulator

Hey thanks man :)
What wizardry is this!
Thanks man!
🤣😂
i thought this app was a multiplatform emulators included.
i keep getting this error message when installing Ds games "An error occurred while trying to import games: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
Where is the setting where you can have a 3D box art that you can move 360 view?
I keep getting error code trying to play PS2 games. Either the emulator or roms do not work on here anymore.
I'm getting an error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" when importing the Roms. Any idea how to fix this?
Mine keeps saying an error has occured when trying to import games. Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Ive been using retroarch for about 3 months now. Any reason to use Launchbox over retroarch?
Thank you sirs.
Can you stream this to a tv?
what happens when you add new roms to the folders, will automatically add them to the launchbox interface?
so launch box says I need something called net core? what is that
I’m getting the same thing, pops up 3 windows saying the same thing….
can retro achievement work

wym?
Is there anything you use to play older pc games ? Or just Win compatibility mode
Do you mean like MS-Dos?
Is there anyway to turn a computer into a gaming system without having windows or others
on it?
Great guide m8, is there any sw/script that checks/autoupdate currently installed emulators for windows? that would be very helpful
I haven't seen anything like that yet. That would definitely save some time not doing it manually
Do I need to install the pcsx2 before I started?
thanks
How you install retro x on mini pc

I’m just wondering, where do you get those roms from the video? and do I need multiple emulators to play the roms in lunchbox?
google search engine is your best friend

Can you install project 64 on this? And can you make it full screen?
damn this is better than hyperspin..
With the free version you can’t use controllers? Is this correct? Only with the paid versions… thanks!
Do you set up bios in lunchbox say for ps2 or do you do that in PCSX first?
Wondering the same thing. I’m still having trouble finding bios files for the pcsx2 . I downloaded roms and emulator but having a very hard time even with his videos
You setup everything outside of Launchbox first
How come you didn't have to load the BIOS files for each of your Playstation Games?
Because he already had LaunchBox setup to run the bios file automatically whenever he selected a game
Well worth the $75 dollars I paid. Big Box is great
what makes it great? thinkin of gettin it
How to put MESEN Emulator in Launchbox? Launchbox is confusing for me.
I have never added messen in to launchbox I use standalone NES and SNES emulators. But I would think you can add it the same way as I did pcsx2.
@@UrCasualGamerright, that what have is that one MESEN with SNES and NES in one its sweet. I didn’t put it into Launchbox. I didn’t see a listing. Too me it confusing. :) have good day man
@@Classicvideogames45any emulator can be added even if it's not listed. There's a way to add it.
When trying to launch PS2 game it reads uknown paremeter --- fullscreen
edit: went to emulator settings deleted one of the parenthesis where it says fullscreen
have like 4k games in amiga, mame games and all consoles except xbox and ps4
how about ps3 with Launchbox ?
Hey another thing, I don't know how many people ask this, but do you have a discord server? It would be nice to have discussions in there
I don't
@@UrCasualGamer will you ever make one?
Does this work on steam deck?

Yes Bro you can Play any emulation you want also ps4 Games or Nintendo Switch
ngage for launchbox ???
Hey, the frontend game launched reminds me of something called coin-ops emulator, have you heard of it
Yes, I used to use coin ops back in the day

Playnite = free
& better
Playnite developed by 1 guy is free & better than Launchbox
One thing they don't have is emulator exiting
@@BlazeBlueY3 they have it, stop lying Launchbox fanboy,
Both don’t support steam family games so its a hard no
What better this or playnite???
I like both, but I use launchbox strictly for emulation.
@@UrCasualGamerSo if you using emulation it is better to use launchbox???
@The_Supreme_Savage I would say yes but others may comment saying they perfer playnite.
@@UrCasualGamerOkay and thanks I really appreciate your videos help me out alot
How do I get roms or games????
👍
too bad they don't have the option to add games from Riot Games
What a strange way to spoil danganronpa
Omg this app takes away the whole point of emulating games.
Not really
Batosera Linux is better for me, sorry I'm German. OH, is good for Windows.
This did not work sadly 😢😢😢
Maybe dis have Virus or like all emulator destroy pc because many emulator can destroy pc
nope, that's not true. I am doing emulation for 20 years
