Hey, I’m a junior in hs, I’d love to work for an nba or nfl team as a physical therapist or athletic trainer. What steps should i take to get there ? Any tips ?

Start simple, get into PT school! Then put yourself out there and try to connect, volunteer, and grind with every NBA team you can.

@@Mikereinold thanks for responding! The only issue is going into debt, is the salary enough to pay that debt off quick ? Can PTs become rich? That’s the only thing stopping me

@@magic1058 do some side jobs while you’re still in HS since you have sm time and invest that money. I’m about to receive my AA from my community college and looking to transfer for my bachelors. The thought of debt is hanging above my head, but as long as you build healthy spending habits and create a great work ethic you should be fine.

Been thinking of getting my masters in sports science and rehabilitation from Logan university before going to DPT school. Thoughts on this school ?

Some of the factors we look for in schools are their clinical affiliations and cost. At this point, cost may be #1!
