You act like the existence of these other instruments delegitamizes the existence of the harpeji, when in fact each instrument has a legitimate purpose of existence. In fact it is you who seems to be the "hack" as you can't see past your own nose to learn to appreciate something that is new and that challenges your previous taste. I didn't want to get long winded but you need to read what you have said and realize how shallow and arrogant your words make you sound. You should not be cutting down artist because they can play a instrument (you obviously can't afford that's why you are bitter about it anyway) instead you should learn to appreciate the music and talent that went in to honing this very unique instrument. Good musicians don't cut eachother down, they should try to elevate all artist around them. By this definition you are a bad musician, you should really consider your thoughts and actions if you want anyone to take your un nuanced opinions into consideration
