for anyone curious, i believe he starts playing boogie on reggae woman flawlessly at 1:40
theres just so much soul in his performance like damn man
Lonnie casually in the back munching on snacks while Cory is shredding on the organ...
gotta check out the booth with the best snacks
What bothers me is he is unbothered lol
He needed that snack .. you can litterally see the text bubble of his thaughts .. (... damn how did this boy get soo good this fast .. took me 60 years to get that far) :p
That's not him you stupid degenerate
Below Me why so mad😂
This mad my night! I will go to sleep now smiling. Music!!! So happy to see Dr. Lonnie Smith right beside him just as happy as he could be munching with approval. Love this!
rip 🪦
He makes it look so darn simple.
I can’t stop coming back to this video. Smashing.
THE ORGAN GOD HIMSELF DR. LONNIE IN THE BACKGROUND. I was thinking about all the great organists who are all gone now, Jimmy Smith, Groove Holmes, Shirley Scott, Charles Earland, Jimmy McGriff, I mean the true LEGENDS. It's so good we still have Dr. Lonnie Smith.
You forgot Jon Lord
And, Cory Henry
we stil have Joey DeFrancesco, probably the greatest alive too

Is Cory even making contact with the keys, or is he playing them telekinetically?
beardgang music convention
Ikechukwu Obi 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
This video taught me what an eargasm is
😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄 I love it!!!
One of my favorite players out there these days, so inspiring.
lonnie and cory having some fun over there
Believe you me, Dr. Smith is eating with his mouth but listening to every note with his ears, heart and soul. Boogie on Reggae Woman, indeed!
Deirdre Phillips and unfortunately that idiot kept hogging up time trying to talk to him.
Cory for president
Dyshof TV: Cory for president -- of the · University of California, Berkeley, music division. At least, let see if his music can soothe those savages souls studying: subterfuge, subjugation, and socialism.
Cory in the house
gostei disto cara
Man I wonder what it’s like to have that much knowledge about an instrument and music in general. Master class
I love how Glenn is smiling and admiring Cory’s talent and not hating. Good stuff
as a fellow pianist i can hear/feel this man has a blessing from God on his hands. he also plays gospel in church right? i tell you, this is about as good as it gets in heaven xD not many angels play it better than him.
Wanted to say the same :)
We are above every angel
As HE is so are WE
He doesn’t have any blessing, that would actually be an insult. Because he plays on this level as a result of so many hours of effective study. Saying he is blessed is almost like denying the hours of study he has made
@@sijbrandloot2340 yeah right, well even if you practise 1000hours per day (which isnt possible) you would not reach the spirit and energy levels this man is playing with. You need a special anointing for this.
@@Roensmusic how are you to know that? I am a musician myself and such people play like 6 hours a day to maybe 8 hours a day. When I start my bachelor I will do just that. I know that by practicing a few hours every day without missing one, you can become an amazing musician just like him. Wouldn’t that be much more motivation to get to your study? I sure think that is!
it payes to go to church when learning the B3...lots a gospell in there....love it......
With the touch of the fingers ~ sounds & songs in the keys of life! Incredible!
If you ever hear a Hammond you'll recognize it instantly forevermore.
love how Dr. Lonnie Smith is In the background lol
This musician
Brooklyns finest organist
0:00 - 4:02 My favorite part
How dare you not enjoy the last second!
He did more with those ten fingers, in those few moments, then the rest of us can hope to achieve in our lifetimes. Really just magic.
My late great aunt was an organist at church, as a child I loved getting close up to see her work those keys.
3:47 young Jordan Rudess peeking from distance 😃
Dr. LS casually in the back 😱
No it isn't
This brings me joy
Never noticed Cory rocking the bass pedals...True B3 artist!
the click attack on this instrument is so nice
Técnica de digitação perfeita.. show.. parabéns..
Amazing how most people around him are just milling around, completely blas'e about this guy's unbelievable talent!
I agree...especially at the NAMM show you would think people would appreciate him more!
I think they are all musicians and know each other.
that's lonnie smith behind him...
My daddy- Dr.Lonnie Smith- the Master of the Hammond B3❤❤
Today I played some freestyle and felt like I hit another level and then I hear this guy with this skill and he showed me how much FURTHER i need to go.. Talented! And much Respect!.
More than a few legends at that booth.
Ikr!!
Cory Henry plays the Hammond XK5 ......on his way to school
Amazing!!! I can't comprehend why this would have even 1 dislike
2:48, that moment when you "God, I need to record this".
In Nigeria, you don't dare drop your phone like that in the name of being the best keyboardist. That singular experience will end in premium tears.
Love how Dr. Lonnie Smith was just jamming along...very humble.
Man, this young man is the one! Awesome!
He’s not playing it, he IS the instrument
HIM AND PIMP C WOULD’VE MADE CLASSICS
I WAS WACHING THAT SHOW 3 YEARS AGO IN ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER
Rest in peace Dr. Lonnie Smith
2:58 when that man realizes the greatness in front of him and has to pull the phone out of the drawstring bag to record it
He looks like he’s just slapping the keys but is playing a masterpiece
I’m a good pianist but I cant wait for the music theory courses I’m taking so I can learn to improv and make my own stuff like this guy
love this guy...his gospel roots shine
Music is directly tied to the soul! This is why those who master an instrument or even the lyrics to any song of any genre become rich $$ people will forever be tied to music through the soul. It is life, as important as the air we breathe and the blood that flows through our veins.
Took that phone of his pocket when dude came up on him. Lol
It's like he's speaking through it
This is why I love RUclips ✌️
WHOA!! This is OUTSTANDING!! Lovin seeing Lonnie enjoying!! Means so much to me!!
Outstanding! Thank you Sir,
Skills: god level
He's almost at Asian 😱
@@Rhapsolin black asian with beard
Yeah and he is only jammin the easy way
This is innovative playing on the Hammond B3 or any keyboard such as WERSI. It is important to keep this kind of instruments and the music alive. Having been deeply involved with the Hammond company I know the good from the bad.
When you see Dr Lonnie Smith in the background you know the video will be good!
had to come back and watch this again
