CK3's true potential is demonstrated quite well in the Game of Thrones mod and some others. It makes you wonder why the vanilla game isn't like that too. Still I don't think it holds up against Imperator Rome.

I was already excited about many of the patch and DLC features, but after watching this I'm even more excited just about how much more active the other nations seem to be. There's so much more happening, or at least it appears that way
It really looks like there is finally another layer of gameplay here - which truly is what an expansion pack should provide, another way to play the game. Power bloc mechanics seem to provide a new layer of diplomacy which was sorely needed. I can’t wait to play this tomorrow
Since getting techs would probably be easier in 1.7, I think it will be cool if you expanded the amount of late-game techs in VTM (like synthetic oil and rubber)
You've always done such a great job of trying to role play in Viccy 3 but this is the first time i've genuinely been inspired by the creativity, envious of the patch, and excited to play for myself. You nail point 1 every time, but this is next level. Great stuff mate!
That bit about 1 minute in is the most real moment of Victoria 3 for me. I do love the game, but there's something about its map design and all. Where I'll just find myself every single run taking quite a bit of time to just look at the world up close. To see the cities, roads, traffic, lights (or absence of), the movement of airships eventually, how territories have developed, etc. It sound so silly I know because it's not why most people play map based games. But... damn if it's not just incredibly satisfying to take a break and appreciate that work.

14:00 The way Paradox would 'nerf' this 'strategy' you've done is actually to increase demand for fine art, which they should do anyway because you can have a booming economy with a lot of very wealthy people who will collectively demand less fine art than your 4 arts academies in Rome produce. Maybe it shouldn't be the thousands and thousands it used to be, but it should definitely be in the hundreds to couple thousand range as your people start to climb the socioeconomic ladder.
29:15 I think the best power bloc statue modifier is the one you get for being an Ideological Union as it gives you 5 influence per statue. Obviously as a country that's "smaller" in terms of states like Italy isn't going to benefit too too much from that, but Russia? France? Britain? China? America? Yeah they benefit a ton from it and can get some truly incredible amounts of influence for it.
33:30 Food Standardization is actually surprisingly good for a lot of blocs. The third level gives you a Food Industries pm that's 16% better and generally quite profitable actually on that basis alone, and the 10% agriculture throughput helps a lot with fabric and dyes and the +1 SoL helps keep things stable because it becomes very difficult for your pops to fall all the way down to a SoL of 1 like unemployed laborers normally would, but they instead get stuck at 2 which makes them die off more slowly and makes them less radical. It's especially powerful if you plan on ever having China or Russia in your bloc, or if you are one of them. The best three imo are Construction, Advanced Research, and Food Standardization although Law Enforcement Coordination can be really fun too for the extra 250 authority.
