Josh Normandin honestly, if you're doing hill climb. I'd just go with a big 4 stroke piston engine. There's not much in that 50-100hp range for rotaries. the Sachs Km48 was a 160cc motor that made 8hp. which would be great for a little mini bike or something, but it's hardly gonna move a banshee. km91 motors were a hair over 300cc, and made close to 20hp and matched torque. km24s from old sleds were simalar in size, but had a couple extra hp to push out. and there's a newer motor called the xr50, made by aixro. and I think that motor clipped over 50hp. again though, these are all fairly gutless motors for doing hill climbs though, and most are quite old, like early 70s kinda old. but there are quite a few other smaller single rotor engines out there. just getting a solid 75-100hp for hill climbing out of a single rotor isn't probably gonna be worth attempting. if you wanted it for making noise and cruising around at car shows or whatever, sure. but if you want some attitude in a banshee, may as well just stay with the 2 stroke. all my rotary buds won't put rotaries in their quads, they just build the motors that are in em. not sure if I was any help at all. lol I felt like I typed a bunch at least. Haha spend a minute just searching for single rotor wankel motors on Google, you'll be surprised at what's actually been made. they even have ones the size of golf balls that run RC cars. lol
Nik B I was thinking more of a Norton based rotary didn't even think of like a universal engine. I will never go 4 stroke though. my last bike was a cheetah 421cc but that blew within a season so I am questioning the bikes future
