She is a very genuine and humble lady Your daughter is in safe hands with Floor... She is a great person and role model In todays world, music needs more people like this, like her ❤
This band blew my mind 3.5 years ago, and Floor is the greatest singer I have personally ever heard. Her versatility is boundless, and every Nightwish song is a new story or journey.
Floor Jensen is the greatest Night Wish singer for people who knows nothing about music at all. His soprano is not nearly to Tarja Turunnen's soprano !!!!!!!
Hello Jenna [ Koality Reactions ] ! Nightwish fan here, your musical quest summoned me. Welcome to the world of symphonic metal! And thank you for checking this legendary band! This live recording is from Wacken Open Air 2013, together with Floor Jansen [pronounced Yansen], the 3rd and present female singer of the band, in front of an 82K audience. About the instrumental and vocal added parts - it's good to know they recorded their orchestral and vocal back tracks with prestigious institutions as London Philharmonic Orchestra. London's The Metro Voices choir group and London's Young Musicians Children's Choir as their regular partners. Since this is your first Nightwish reaction, it is my duty to give you the [updated] short history of the band concentrated by Ann Waychoff, one of the biggest Nightwish fan who has since passed away (and I am doing this in her memory): " Nightwish was started in 1996.They are considered a Symphonic Metal band, with a female main singer. They are from Finland. Tuomas Holopainen [pronounced Tuo-mas], the keyboard player, composes and writes the lyrics for 95% of their music. [Sami Vanska was the bassist of the band starting with their 2nd studio album, he was with them until 2001. Then Marco Hietala was bassist and vocals, since 2001 to 2020. He recently announced his retirement both from the band and the public life for the next year at least. Then in May 2021 Jukka Koskinen [pronounced Yukka] became the bassist of the band, for the Human :II: Nature tour - and recently, the band announced he became a permanent member] And there is the guitarist Emppu Vuorinen [he also recorded the bass lines for their 1st studio album]. Then there is Troy Donockley from UK who is a multi-instrumentalist and vocals. Jukka Nevalainen [pronounced Yukka] is the drummer. In 2015 due to Jukka's health issues Kai Hahto became the drummer and as of now is a permanent addition. Nightwish has had three singers. 1st one was Tarja Turunen [pronounced Tarr-ya] (Operatic vocals). She was with them until 2005. The 2nd one was Anette Olzon from Sweden (Poppy, strong vocals). She was with them until 2012.The 3rd and current singer is Floor Jansen, from Netherlands (power, operatic, soprano.....most versatile) - you just heard her. There are live concerts that you should use depending on what era. From Wishes to Eternity and End of an Era (Tarja), Montreux Festival live 2012 and Exit Festival (Anette), Live at Wacken 2013, Live at Wembley, Live at Tampere, Vehicle of Spirit, Decades live (Floor). I hope this helps. I want to welcome you to the Nightwish community. I hope you like them enough to continue the journey. Believe me Nightwish will surprise you with their songs. You will never know what to expect. They are unbelievable live. I want to warn you that Nightwish fans are hard core. So be prepared. lol " For an extended set of suggestion (with links), I posted 2 huge comments in the community tab in my main YT channel: www.youtube.com/@gabriel.bardac/community 🤘
Thank you Gabriel!! (I love that the Nightwish community is so tight-knit that everyone knows you're the bringer of Nightwish info.) Ahhh symphonic mental... this makes a lot of sense now. It did feel much more symphonic than what I was expecting. So cool that they worked with the London Philharmonic Orchestra! Thank you for the warm welcome and all the band history. So lovely you're doing it in Ann's memory. I'll definitely be listening to more Nightwish, so thanks for the recommendations (and the links). Appreciate you! 🤍
@@KoalityReactions Now it's 11 PM here, and I found some time to review your reaction. First observation: the one who recommended Nightwish to you as an introduction to the Metal genre has all my respect, because this band has proven over time to be a real gateway for non-metalheads into a new musical universe. This is my situation as well, until a few years ago I listened to other genres of music, but only after listening to Nightwish did I feel that I had truly arrived at home, that my horizons had opened. In the hope that you will continue to explore this real treasure of diamonds and pearls, you have my subscription. All the best, from Romania!
Welcome to the magical world of symphonic metal and Nightwish. This is one of the most epic live performances EVER. Glad you liked, and greetings from Finland! ⛄❄👍
She (Floor Jansen) is definitely professionally trained. She did the Rock Academy in the Netherlands as well as Music Theatre and Opera at the Conservatory. As for her capabilites: With this song you are just scratching the surface of what she can do. Check out the other songs at this concert. 15 in total and they are all bangers. Or wait until The leader of the Nightwish army arrives in your comments. He will give you all the info you need on Nightwish and Floor Jansen as well as a list of links to the best streams on RUclips.
Whaaaat! So cool there's a Rock Academy in the Netherlands?! I love that. Definitely checking out more per Gabriel's links (and from this concert) - thank you!!
Whilst studying Floor was also singing in one of Europe's pioneer Symphonic Metal bands "After Forever" - which she joined aged 16 so her academic learning ran alongside the reality of aquiring the skills of a professional singer.
I really enjoyed your open minded reaction. Nightwish is the perfect band for you to delve in the metal genre and it’s various sub genres. Nightwish are considered symphonic metal. This band is best heard live. They have an epic live catalogue that awaits you. Looking forward to the next one!
Yes! I'm a big fan of reactions channels and i'm always looking for such youtubers like you. We (Nightwish fans) know exactly that the band is super, dope, cool, etc. but we expect from reactors to tell us why they think like that and that's what you did in yor reaction. So, welcome in the amazing world of Nightwish and symphonic metal. It;s combination of two very close to each other music genras (clasic music and metal). Nightwish (IMHO) is the best band in this genra and Floor Jansen (lead singer) is the best vocalist on this planet. Gabriel Bardac will give you list of the suggestions. I agree with most of them so I won't be writing here my own. Best regarts from Poland, your new subscriber.
Thank you for the kind comment! I totally get how symphonic metal is a close combo of classical and metal... that's probably why I liked it so much - I love classical music! Can't wait to listen to more of their stuff! Cheers.
It is amazing how they can go from what you would perceive as hard metal to some of the most beautiful heart wrenching pieces you can imagine. If you go down the rabbit hole, you will love the ride!
Hey beautyfull!!! You don't have an idea about what you can see and hear from Nightwish. Good reaction. Please keep on. Greettings from Argentina. Sorry for my English.
Welcome to the world of symphonic metal. Totality different to hard core mainstream metal. I liked your reaction style. Listening intensely and taking everything in with just the odd comment then adding a well informed reaction at the end. Each Nightwish song is unique, tapping in to many different genres from opera to rock and even folk. I hope you continue your Nightwish journey because I know they will astound you. Greetings from the UK.
@@KoalityReactionsYes folk! There’s a member of the band that you haven’t met yet called Troy Donockley. He is an English multi instrumentalist who plays guitar, tin whistle, the low whistle ( a bit like a recorder) and Irish bagpipes called Eilleann pipes! The pipes are featured quite a lot in their music. The best one being “I Want My Tears Back”. A real fun song. My favourite version is at Hellfest 2022. Metal and bagpipes. There’s a sentence you never thought you would encounter! Looking forward to your next Nightwish reaction.
I absolutely LOVE seeing someone witness this for the first time, because I get to relive it like when I saw this for the first time. Thank you SO much for capturing this moment!
What Gabriel said. Tuomas Holopainen, on keys, has three keyboards, a backing track controller, some SPFX triggers and one or two bottles of red wine behind that "pipe organ" stage decoration. He is THE Metal Mozart! This song comes from one of the best concerts of the decade if not the Century! BIG rabbithole with Nightwish!! Nightwish Army, Blue Mountains Corps, Australia. Nightwish since 1996.
Thx for the reaction and welcome to Nightwish !! This band can go heavy or light and everything in between. To help ease into symphonic metal I will recommend My Walden live in Tampere, or Dead Boys Poem live in Buenos Aires please , enjoy the ride , many surprises with this band 🤘🏼💥🤘🏼
Love these suggestions for wading into the symphonic metal! I have a feeling the lighter side will be more my jam, but I'm willing to check it all out. Appreciate this!
@KoalityReactions I love classical too. I'm a piano teacher. I'm not into too hard of stuff either but NW harder stuff is melodic enough and arranged really well. Enjoy the journey!
Oh my , Tuomas is incredible on the piano and keyboards , I will recommend his side project song Lifetime of Adventure , the life and times of Scrooge McDuck if you can believe that lol , his wife Johanna is the main singer with a beautiful voice and is a must , oh so many songs I’d like to request of Nightwish but please do some more for the Nightwish army !!
@@KoalityReactions Try the song "Elan" live with subtitles of course. It is quite fun and catchy. Another of their somewhat lighter songs for you to try would be "Alpenglow", (live of course!) It totally rocks! Marco's backup vocals in Alpenglow is to die for!
Most people who don't listen to metal have preconceived ideas about what it. I had many preconceived ideas. There is a lot of great and truly beautiful music in the world of metal. Nightwish is a great band to get you started on your exploration of metal.
Hello, lovely lady! NightWish huge, long-time fan/addict here! lol. I just came across your channel and I enjoyed your reactions to this incredible band, you've got a new subscriber right here and several thumbs up! Welcome to the Nightwish ship of wonders!! lol🤘❤ And thank you for this reaction btw, Ioved it! They are such an epic, extraordinary, legendary band, as you surely know by now! I'm so glad to see so many people on YT reacting to Nightwish and thus coming to know their music this way! Nightwish lore spreading all around!!!🤘🖤 Yeah! haha. I mean, you witnessed it, their music is so... Gods, no mundane word is enough to describe such magnificent otherworldly realm that they've created through their Music!!! Pure magic, regardless of who's the singer they're working with! So please continue in the path of this fantanstic musical journey with them! Btw, since dear Gabriel has already come here to give you the summary of the NW lore and history, I guess you're already familiar with most of it and know that they had three lead singers so far: Tarja Turunen (first one and co-founder of the band, from 1996 to 2005); Anette Olzon (from 2007 to 2012); and Floor Jansen (third singer, the one you heard, who sings with them since 2013). Well, I don't know if you're taking suggestions from the comment sections but, I certainly hope so for I have plenty lol. I hope you're willing to take this fantastic journey through all of their music (I believe anyone starting to know their work should give a listen to them in all eras, including their origins with Tarja and their middle era with Anette, so you can have a full insight of their lore, style, evolution and Art). So if that's alright I'd like to drop down here my recommendations from them in Tarja's era (yeah, I do have a reeaally soft spot for her😆, although I love all of them especially Floor), since from what I've seen you reacted to NW songs with the amazing Floor (others can recommend you more songs from her era), and I'm more of an "old school Nightwisher" (although I absolutely LOVE them in all eras!🤘💘), moreover I'd like to not make this comment any longer that it will already be lol. Afterwards I'll be also suggesting songs from Tarja's stunning solo career, her work is different from anything you've seen and deserves more attention, it's creative and overall mindblowing, plus 'tis inspiring how she's constantly growing and improving herself as an artist and a person, and only through her solo career you get to really know her artistry! I really do hope you're willing to take this fantastic journey through the Art all of these phenomenal artists deliver to the world, it's so worth it! Now before we continue, I'd only like to add that I enjoy NW's music from all eras with all three lead singers they had because they're an incredible band, and although I'm a huge Tarja fan (or Tarjaholic, as some would call us ahaha) - and think she's very unique and brought NW to a whole new level combining her stunning dark, absolutely beautiful and powerful operatic vocals (her rich timbre I must say is rare and uncommon even into the classical music universe) with Tuomas' genius -, I love, respect, support and appreciate all their singers as the equally great, amazingly talented musicians they undoubtedly are in their own different ways and rights (that's a fact only the blind don't see, all else is just a matter of personal taste and preference imo), each of them brought special, individual elements to the band that helped them grow, mature and develop their artistic identity. As a fan, I strongly believe we are blessed to have witnessed three amazing talented ladies fronting NW and should just enjoy the gift the whole band (all members, past and present) deliver us with their timeless Art, and I think we should feel grateful and honored for that, regardless of our personal preferences. That being said, without further ado, back to NW in Tarja's era (I tried to make a selection as short as I could, really difficult to choose from their vast, outstanding repertoire lol, but there's so much more to explore as you go): 1. ruclips.net/video/YODCM26JXOY/видео.html . "Ghost Love Score", song from their album "Once", performed in the iconic "End of an Era" DVD. (Curious fact: Tarja was very sick with a severe throat infection during this concert in 2005 - the last time ever the band and her performed together before their dramatic breakup. She didn't even know if she'd be able to sing that night, yet she did it marvellously! So if this is not the best she can do, just you imagine how damn incredible she is at her best!😍Remember this everytime you react to this concert lol). This is one of their greatest masterpieces of all times! Floor also sings this one differently but beautifully🖤 (you just reacted to her version) and I love both, but I personally love the way Tarja sings it, I feel like she deeply understands the crucial importance of the instrumentals (especially the epic orchestral arrangement and choir), and the unspoken soul of the song, so she doesn't sing it like it was all about her voice and it's clearly intentional; if you listen closely sometimes she even seems to use her voice like an instrument, often blending her sound at the end of some phrases with the orchestra's (which in Floor's version was made lower probably to match her style better), becoming one living soul with the music. It's just so perfect imo! 2. ruclips.net/video/tL25rbnvM4o/видео.html . "The Phantom of the Opera", also live from the End of an Era concert; yes, that's their astonishing version of the song from the same-name A. L. Webber's musical. Tarja in the role of Christine and Marko as the Phantom 😍🤘. Just mindblowing, that's all I have to say for now! 3. ruclips.net/video/LUy8T_3kieI/видео.html . "The Siren", another iconic "must listen" masterpiece, also from End of an Era. Tarja becomes The Siren here, so mesmerizing! Here you get to hear different layers of her singing she rarely used while with NW, apart from unique dark classical vocals: she uses a soft, drawing, mystic almost ethereal voice, and also a sort of arabic/gypsy chanting style! Really beautiful, mystical and enthralling imo! 4. ruclips.net/video/LAoUWU4Opto/видео.html . "Bless the Child", live at Raumanmeri in 2003, song from the 2002 album "Century Child". Another brilliant song and performance! If you wish, there's also the official video for this song, quite beautiful and breathtaking. 5. ruclips.net/video/lZgkxgkH6I8/видео.html . "Planet Hell", also from "End of an Era" dvd (song originally from "Once" as well). Heavy! Tarja & Marko!😍 They rock so freaking amazing together!🤘 6. ruclips.net/video/VSMCD39EIMc/видео.html . "Kuolema tekee taiteilijan", also from "End of an Era" dvd (and originally from "Once" as well). I put this ballad because it's simply beautiful and so very touching (plus, it's in finnish, their native language, and I love it!) The translation of the title is something like "Death makes an artist"... 7. ruclips.net/video/J7N8MekeH20/видео.html . "Wishmaster", also live from "End of an Era". Great performance of another iconic song! 8. ruclips.net/video/JYVl6MOZXIs/видео.html . This is "Swanheart", live performance from 2001 dvd "From wishes to Eternity". The song is originally from their album "Oceanborn". This is gold, probably their most Beautiful ballad ever! If you wish there's also this 2013 version from Tarja's solo career: ruclips.net/video/TvFVdET3ng4/видео.html in which she performs with an orchestra and choir, a beautiful arrangement and her vocals are so thrilling and emotional! 9. ruclips.net/video/tFSqaLKXzwY/видео.html . "Slaying the Dreamer", live from End of an Era DVD. Heavy, bombastic, mindblowing, phenomenal!! A little "belting" from Tarja, plus she and all of them headbanging hard 😍 gets me headbanging along🤘 10. ruclips.net/video/E_RRMRXJWxI/видео.html . "Sleeping Sun", live from End of an Era. Such an Iconic ballad, truly beautiful, astounding! 11. ruclips.net/video/0QtdQQne2Ts/видео.html . "Passion and the Opera", this one is actually performed in Tarja's solo career, 'twas in 2007 (therefore after her departure from the band). I don't think they ever performed this song live together, neither did the other singers as far as I know. Anyway it's sooo amazing!!! In this song Tuomas seems to make "subtle" musical mentions of Mozart's "Queen of the Night" aria, from his opera "The Magic Flute". Love this and Tarja is gorgeous, showcases much of her vocal skills and powerful energy on stage! 12. ruclips.net/video/ROdKrGVVuI8/видео.html . "Dark Chest of Wonders", also live from "End of an Era", the openning title of the concert. Brilliant, heavy yet flowing like a river! 13. ruclips.net/video/lI2WRR8lXgE/видео.html . "Ever Dream", another iconic and great song, also live from End of an Era. Floor also sings this one just as beautifully. 14. ruclips.net/video/GG8UNbI2KM4/видео.html . "10th Man Down", from EP "Over the Hills and Far Away", and performance is live at the Summer Breeze Fest in 2002. Baby NW and they're already grand! Now to Tarja's solo career in the next comment...😆
Dear friend, I'm glad you got to know Nightwish, Finnish symphonic metal band and music. Tuomas Holopainen (keyboards) is behind this beautiful music, he writes and composes these songs. He is our modern day metal Mozart. Hope to see you continue this metal caravan 🤘😊❤
Hi Jenna😘Great reaction . Nightwish is an absolutely unique band . The music style , the power and the amazing atmosphere at the concert . Extremely talented ❤Floor Jansen ❤is addictive with her unearthly vocals , she is simply wonderful . I really hope you will continue to explore the great world of symphonic metal and Nightwish . And now a sub for you and let's keep flying 🤘😘🤘
nice reaction. nightwish are an amazing band and Floor is one of the most amazing singers and she is the most humble and down to earth woman. i hope you'll listen more nightwish and Floor. she also have a youtube channel and she released a solo album that is not metal but its amazing🥰 Floor can sing in 8 languages and she can do almost anything sing pop metal grow opera and everything you can imagine. you will be blown away from her talent
What a beautiful sincere reaction. Very beautiful with a lovely smile. I could tell by your smile and expressions that you were amazed and enjoyed it very much. I understood your comment about metal, and I'm happy you found Nightwish. You will enjoy their music and I look forward to hearing another reaction from you, Jenna. (Koality Reactions)
When you said "Earballs" I laughed because it is such an appropriate description of what you will be using every time you listen/watch a Nightwish video/song... Great reaction.
Hahaha Glad you liked it! It's a common phrase I use, for whatever reason. Once you start saying it, you can't stop. Thanks for the comment, appreciate it!
Hi Jenna, greetings from UK Thank you for checking out my favourite band 😊 I do hope that you will dip your toe into their music and I hope that you find some songs that you like
Thank you for mentioning the Band's performance! I'm a Nightwish fan for 22 years and a Floor fan for 19 years and I was there 2013 and what a surprise it was for me to see both of them going together now, I had tears in my eyes through the whole concert. So every now and then it's time for me to witness a new lucky "I've never heard something from Nightwish before" victim and they are always so absolutely and legitimately amazed by Floor's performance. But this masterpiece of a song and the whole entire concert was just pure perfection by the whole band. If it's only ghost love score, you can listen to it over and over again always focussing on another band member. Have you noticed Jukka the drummer? Are you aware of what Tuomas is doing there? Just look, listen and feel what is happening there! 🤘❤️🔥
Hello Nightwish Army reporting from the Netherlands. Welcome to the wonderful world of Nightwish. They are from Finland. And they make Symphonic Metal. What you've heard here is just the tip of what this band can do. Nightwish really hits you in your heart. And that's what makes this band so unique. Her name is Floor Jansen and she is Dutch. There were 82,000 people there. I happily refer you to Gabriel Bardac's comment (he'll be here soon) for a list with lots of song suggestion. Watch out for the Nightwish Army. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Huh, Disturbed, Ren, and Nightwish, right in a row - guess I've found a new reactor to tune into! You've picked some great starting points - and thanks much for sharing how these works affect you, with all us randos out here on the 'Net! Looking forward to whatever you find next :)
I had some people giving good recommendations! I would’ve been lost otherwise. 😂🙈 Can’t wait to keep going and listen to more from all of those bands and more. Thanks for hanging and watching, I really appreciate it. From one rando to another! 🤍
Welcome to a rabbit hole of musical joy. I've been a metal head since puberty and THAT was a looooong time ago. There are so many sub-genres of metal, some you'll love, some you be ok with, some that you won't like. It's the same for me. But Nightwish! I find it hard to comprehend not liking them. Especially live. This whole concert's set list, that song was 13 of 15, are absolute gold! And there is so much beyond. Enjoy! 🤘😎🤘
the North German Division of the Nightwish Army reports !! We are there. special greetings to the General of the Army > Gabriel Bardac < (in your comments) and of course the rest of the Nightwish army and the sabaton family The Bande Vocals : Floor Jansen Bass,Vocals : Marco Hietala Guitar : Emppu Vuorinen Keyboards,Songwriting. : Tuomas Holopainen Uilleann Pipes : Troy Donockley Drums :1-Jukka Nevalainen until 2013 /and then 2-Kai Hahto.
I'm glad you started your Nightwish journey. From what I know about you, I'd probably recommend you try Storytime or Everdream from the same concert. They are in a slightly more traditional structure and song format and a bit lighter too. Romanticide is my favourite performance from Wacken 2013 by quite a bit, but it's a lot heavier.
Thank you!! Storytime seems to be a very popular recommendation so I feel good about that as the next step. (Originally I had The Greatest Show on Earth slotted for the next NW reaction, but definitely changing it based on everyone’s recommendation.) Excited to listen to your fav song too! Thanks. 🤍
@@KoalityReactionsplease keep "The Greatest Show on Earth" and "The Poet and The Pendulum" on stand-by, at least for a little while (even if they are frequently requested): I think you will appreciate them better, once you have some other Nightwish songs under your belt (there's plenty of them: all bangers, every one is a journey of its own, no one is similar to another). I liked your reaction: yes metal has a lot of sub-genres, so everyone could find his/her cup of tea... Tuomas (founder, keyboardist and main composer of Nightwish) doesn't like harsh vocals, while Floor (current singer) did like them when in her previous bands (After Forever and ReVamp). If you want to dig deeper into the vocals topic I suggest you another rabbit hole: try "Pisces" by the band Jinjer. Like the zodiac sign the title refers to, there is a certain... duality in this song's vocals. Definitively worth a reaction! Greetings from Italy and good luck for your channel! 👋🇮🇹🖖
Every... Frickin... Time. Goosebumps from Floor on her last notes. Generic metal music is probably what you were thinking of. This is symphonic metal, and one of the best all time songs by Nightwish. Top 3 for me easy. Nice reaction and welcome to the wonderful world of Nightwish.
Your paradigm in your mind has been shifted...lol I discovered them last August. Every song is different but amazing. As a classically trained piano teacher and singer i love analyzing their music. You never know within the song where they will lead you. Floor can make covers better than the original too. Subbed for more of your awesome reactions.
Thx for a lovely reaction Jenna...you were obviously taken by surprise, as many others are when reacting first time to this song. Really looking forward to your next NW reaction. Everything on Gabriel's or the other guy's lists are epic, and so different, but, personally, I think 'Storytime' would be a great follow up reaction for you if you want to continue on your NW journey...but don't leave it too long please...😉😍🤘
I’ll do another one soon! I usually record in a batch of 8-10 videos, so there will more in the next batch for sure. Can’t wait! Storytime is definitely up next.
Greetings from Nightwish Army, Palm Springs, CA! Yep...that's the face! The face of the person who says "I don't like metal!" Then they hear Floor Jansen sing... Nightwish is a band of many styles and sounds...no 2 songs alike! A group of world-class musicians...you will likely be lured into more...so next up...Storytime! See below a comment from Gabriel Bardac who will provide you with a band bio and list of links to best performances (under Community tab on his YT channel)...follow the list and become a Nightwish fan! We're happy to come along on your journey!
@@KoalityReactions That makes me so happy! Oh, and in case no one explained... 1. Wacken is in Germany, pronounced VAW-KEHN. And 2. The "pipe organ thing" is a custom wine rack fashioned after the Sebelius Monument in Helsinki, then converted into a keyboard stand!
Nightwish is from Finland, the current female lead, Floor Jansen, is Dutch, from the Netherlands. Rock opera is close to, or partly, what Nightwish is about, but the genre is called symphonic metal. The original female lead vocalist, Tarja, was more operatic than Floor, the 3rd female lead of Nightwish, you just heard her. She can sing from operatic to growling. The pipes are just for looks. There are 3 keyboards behind it. Synthesizers and piano. They also have a backing track recorded by a symphony orchestra, because there's a limit how much Tuomas Holopainen, the keyboardist, can do live on stage. He writes vast majority of Nightwish songs. (He can play pipe/church organ. He was given the chance to play one huge organ in Helsinki Music Hall. "Holopainen chuch organ Kantrilehti" A 2 minute video on Kantrilehti channel. Kantrilehti is the Finnish for Country Magazine)
I thought it must be some kind of keyboard with the pipes just being for looks (because it didn't sound like an organ), but it looked VERY cool. I love that they worked with an orchestra, it definitely adds to the sound! Symphonic metal is very cool... never knew this was a thing. Excited!
Welcome to the world of Nightwish and symphonic metal. They really are a unique band; each song is different and awesome. Floor's beautiful voice reaches your heart in unexpected ways. I hope you continue to explore their music. Hello from the NW Army Portugal.
When you want to go further on the path of our 1.83m (6ft.+) tall Dutch Valkyrie Queen Floor Jansen besides Nightwish, here is some background information on the best and most versitale female singer of our time. Floor joined the band 'After Forever' in 1997 at the age of 16. Here are some of my favourites: Energize me: ruclips.net/video/fjm4BrNAf6s/видео.html Monolith of Doubt: ruclips.net/video/3TmKHkQx45U/видео.html Dreamflight: ruclips.net/video/73-_F9prx4I/видео.html Floor attended the then new Rock Academy in 1999 and graduated in 2003. She also studied 2 years at the Conservatory (1 year Music Theatre and 1 year Opera). Here is a link to a part of a TV show (with english subtitles) of the reunion of the class of the Rock Academy with mostly backstage footage of the Tampere concert of Nightwish in 2015: ruclips.net/video/B3NIfu0qvtg/видео.html 'After Forever' disbanded in 2009 and Floor started her own band 'Revamp' from scratch. Here she experimented with different vocal styles within one song from full operatic to death growls in seconds. Here are some examples: Misery’s no Crime: ruclips.net/video/SNPesLFTnUg/видео.html Disdain: ruclips.net/video/tIqzPXzhEuw/видео.html Besides managing a band on her own she also did a lot of vocal coaching and as she is a perfectionist, she wants to do everything at 100%+. Eventually she had to pay the price and got a burnout. She had just recovered when end of september 2012 the call came from Nightwish to fill in for the remainder of the North American Tour at first as their second singer Annette got ill. Floor had just 48 hours to learn the whole setlist. There is a documentary made of this world tour: ruclips.net/video/vhExkmWKMEU/видео.html Floor joined Nightwish after this iconic Wacken concert in 2013 as permanent member of the band. Floor continued to perform with 'Revamp’ also, but it was clear that she could not combine the two for much longer, so 'Revamp' disbanded in 2016. Floor did a side project called 'Northward' where she dived into the Hard Rock scene. The song 'While Love Died is a must see:: ruclips.net/video/bAiPeSsqD-4/видео.html A suggestion to a christmas song sung by Floor. Living by the woods in Sweden with her husband Hannes Van Dahl (drummer of the band Sabaton), daughter Freja (turned 6 years last march), and another on its way, a horse and pony, a dog and a bunch of cats, she found this.

Jacksonville Fl. Division of the Nightwish Army on board. Thank you for an excellent reaction video to our Nightwish. You are classy, well spoken and excellent at articulating your thoughts, emotions and feelings. There will be some excellent guidelines offered from the fanbase, to help you navigate the waters of your Nightwish journey, my only advise would be to do a little research before tackling The Poet And The Pendulum as well as The Greatest Show On Earth. You will get so much more out of your experience, if you know the context. Once again, great job, and best wishes.
Welcome to Nightwish family, prepare to be blown away with every new song, and with Nightwish it's all about pure emotions, so just relax and embrace it and you'll enjoy it so much. 🤗🔥
Welcome to the world of Nightwish. Nightwish Army California checking in. hope you explore more of them! this whole concert will just blow your mind! all songs different!
Welcome to nightwish! I do hope you continue with the journey, Gabriel's list is the perfect introduction, it's a life changing experience for sure! Great reaction!
Nightwish is incredibly good and versatile. Floor is otherworldly in her talent and skill. She can do it all vocally, her stage presence is phenomenal and she evokes emotions like no one else. I recommend checking out everything she did on Beste Zangers 2019, as well as the songs she posted on her RUclips channel.
Nice reaction lady. Nightwish is a very large but satisfying rabbit hole. Every song is different. Lol! With Nightwish's discography, and Ren' s vids, add in Dimash and Diana Ankudinova, and you'll not want for some amazing music. I will enjoy watching your musical journey pretty lady...😎🎏
Beast In Black - Blind And Frozen. You must hear this singer. This band have been a warmup for Nightwish many times. And .... both live in Finland :) Great song and a great video
Nighwish foot soldier checking in, SoCal Chapter. Congrats on discovering symphonic metal and Nightwish. Your journey begins and we members of the NIghtwish Army will ba along for your journey. Lots to discover and learn and many rabbit holes leading to other great bands and singers. New subscriber.
welcome to the fantastic symphonic metal universe of Nightwish Band, their live performances are some of the things that come so close to epic that they get to be mythical and of course Floor Jansen, queen of the stage and goddess of music, she can sing anything in any musical style she wants (WARNING! her voice, her stage presence, her charisma, in one word: her "spell" is highly addictive). this concert (wacken 2013) is incredibly epic and deserves to be watched and reacted entirely, song by song, in particular I suggest these three songs: "song of myself", "storytime" and "ever dream" this performance of "ghost love score" is one of the three best performances of the nightwish band, together with "the poet and the pendulum" from 2015 concert at the london wembley arena and "the greatest show on earth" from 2015 concert in tampere - finland (actually there is a fourth best performance: "dead boy's poem" from the 2018 concert in buenos aires).
Thank you! So many people have mentioned Storytime, I think I’ll have to do that one next. I had The Greatest Show on Earth slotted for the next NW reaction, but I’m switching it now. Can’t wait!
@@KoalityReactions the song "The Greatest Show on Earth" is a great choice, but in my opinion the best performance for this song is the one from the 2015 concert in tampere ruclips.net/video/45brzDJKZ3o/видео.html
@@KoalityReactions Smart thing to do. The greatest show on earth (Tampere version preferd) is worth a little wait since it really lives up to it´s name. There are so many great songs to get to know the band. Storytime is a natural follow up but I would really like to see you react to their usual showstarter: Dark chest of wonders. Great reaction and I hope to see more from you. All the best from sweden.
That warning for Floor Jansen is absolute necessary!! Since I heard her for the first time about half a year ago my world came to a grinding stop. Since that first moment my productivity went down to zero. I can not stop listening to all of her songs en productions. Whether it is with Nighwish ( second to none), her covers that she recorded at home during Covid ( second to none either), or her solo project ) . Everything she touches turns into gold. Absolutely not of this world. twi
Wellcome to the magical music of Nightwish. 100 plus songs, but not any bad ones. You will have many good vibes listening to this symponic metal band. Greetings from nwAse Sweden
You have just been Floored, as so many have said of reviewers in the past as they encounter Floor Jansen for the first time. Welcome to Nightwish. In the mid 1990s this Finnish band INVENTED the genra of operatic female singer backed by a metal band. Every group from Epica to Evanescence have credited Nightwish as their inspiration. Their original singer Tarja Turunen was a classically trained (opera) singer. Tuomas Holopainen, the keyboardist, is the composer and lyricist for the vast majority of their songs. It took some time and a few shakeups, but they finally found Floor Jansen, a singer song writer in her own right. Floor is also a classically trained singer, as her amazing breath control and range attest. In addition to her oparetic power vocals, she also growls. Be sure to check out Epica for the talented Simone Simmons. After Forever and ReVamp are other collaborative efforts Floor fronted. Trivia: • Floor Jansen, Nightwish's third lead singer was good friends with Tarja, their first lead singer. They have appeared together doing duets at Tarja's concerts. • Floor was also good friends with Simone Simmons of Epica, both of whom are from the Netherlands.
Ahh.. another soul snatched by our valkyrie viking queen! I believe *story time* is up next. Excellent job reacting with very few pauses, I'll be watching for your next nightwish reaction.. Great lakes chapter reporting in..
That was awesome!! Loved your reaction. I especially liked that you didn't keep pausing every 30 seconds or talked over the music like a lot of people do. Nightwish is one of my favorite bands and I loved how you immersed yourself and just enjoyed the music. Your smile and facial expression said it all. I'm a shower singer too by the way. I don't have the singing chops I did in my teens and early 20s anymore. but the shower doesn't judge. Maybe if I install lasers and spot lights I can throw a concert. Since you are just getting into metal, I suggest 3 bands who have male vocalists that are above and beyond in vocal talent. Geoff Tate of Queensryche's Take Hold of the Flame. There is a live from Tokyo (1984?), Skid Row's Wasted Time with Sebastian Bach on vocals, and Steelheart's She's Gone. All 3 songs will take you on a music odyssey. Perhaps you''ve done them already. I'll have to check out your channel. Great job. I subscribed. Good luck with the reactions. I'm trying to get some of my actor friends to do this too. It's lots of fun.
Thank you for this kind comment!! 🤍 And for the suggestions. I just wrote them down. I really appreciate you taking the time! And you're right, it's a lot of fun. I hope you convinced some of your friends to try it.
Right......welcome, you wokeup the Nightwish army so get ready for a fantastic NIGHTWISH experiance, band from Finland, singer from the Netherlands and a guy who can play lots of instruments from GB.
Nightwish Army Vancouver, SW BC division reporting. Salute General and Jenna, follow Gabriel on this journey... you have started with one of the most remarkable live performances in all genres of music. Welcome
Welcome to the wonderful world of Nightwish and the genre Symphonic Metal. It is indeed a deep, deep rabbit hole!! Nightwish Wacken 2013 was one of those moments when a band completely clicked, every single song from the entire set is a banger, and its even more impressive when you know Floor had only joined the band about 10 months earlier while they were touring the US (she took the call to come sing for them and had just 48 hours to get to the US and learn the set list before she did her first show with the band!) And yes, describing "metal" music can be confusing as it covers so many sub-genres and styles, symphonic metal being one of them. Don't worry about it, let your ears and brain work out what you like and what you don't, not every piece is going to be to your tastes, and that's perfectly okay. Just enjoy the journey.
Oh my gosh I love this, thank you! I definitely agree that not every type of music is for everyone, but it’s so nice to hear someone say follow what you like. And yes, someone told me about her joining the band and only having 48 hours to learn the set list. I can’t even imagine!! She is definitely a power house. Excited for more! Thanks for being here.
@@KoalityReactionsOh undoubtedly, its the only way to listen to music imho, you either like something or you don't and no amount of being told that something is good /bad matters, its down to your own ears/brain/heart telling you what you like. Unfortunately, in the world of reactions, you'll get a lot of opinions being thrown at you but as the old saying goes "opinions are like arse-holes......everyone has got one!!" NW is a perfect example, you'll often hear some quite strong statements about NW's original singer Tarja and how she's better than Floor and "the true Queen of NW" etc, and then others will defend Floor (and poor Annette in the middle gets kind of forgotten!!) but these people forget that we are blessed to have had 3 great singers in the band and each played their part in the evolution of the group, each helped to make NW what they are today. People focus to much on "better" as if its a competition all the time instead of thinking "different".
@@SolFaithman Totally agree! All forms of art are so subjective. It’s definitely based off how you personally feel about it. That’s why art is so cool… it effects and moves everyone differently. Well said! 🤍
You're now into Symphonic metal, one of many genres in the sphere of metal music. You should also check out Therion, one of the pioneers of symphonic metal.
There are so many types of metal, and to be honest it's all good. I recently realized in my late 50's that there are many groups who growl and scream are amazing. I have been going to more metal concerts in my 50's than i did in the 30plus years before, and It's awesome. I recommend trying a sample of all types of metal bands Nightwish is my favorite ...i am a bit obsessed with Jinjer, Baby Metal, and Hanabie at the moment. I am going to see them all live in the next 6 weeks in New York.
Yes, exactly: not just a song, a performance. It's not traditional metal music, although there are aspects of metal there, obviously. I'm a fan of classic metal, but maybe like symphonic metal even more after discovering Nightwish,
Originally Floor was sent by Allfather Odhinn to Midgard to gather the souls of fallen warriors to Valhalla, but she got distracted and joined a series of bands. However, Floor still gathers souls by her grace, beauty and the sheer power of her vocals. We give thanks for her at our Blots regularly and hope that Odhinn won't notice that she has never returned to Asgard. ALL HAIL THE VALKYRIE GODDESS!!! The Nightwish Army is incoming! You're not ready! Nightwish Army Central Florida Black Company reporting for duty!
This is an endless rabbit hole, the Nightwish catalog is immense, the band has been around for going on thirty years. The first ten or so they were fronted by another very talented singer named Tarja. Two other bands in the same genre to check out, Epica and Within Temptation, also very talented bands and singers.
NIGHTWISH is a symphonic metal band totally different than metal. I loved watching you react to my favorite band. I'm in my mid 60s and I have been following NIGHTWISH for years. I saw them twice last year and they put on a fantastic concert. My recommendatio is to stick with NIGHTWISH at Wacken 2013. There is a lot of great music from that concert. I know that you will be getting a lot of feedback from NIGHTWISH fans and the NIGHTWISH Army. Keep up the great work and good luck with your channel 🤘🌵

Someone gave you a great suggestion. This piece is GREAT! So much sound & music. And most importantly Floor Jansen. A vocal superstar!!! This 43 year old has formal training. And she will prove it in a bit. This first section is a warm up for her! Every woman likes her outfit, cape and all....... A small hint, watch for them to take a brief break. Upon their return Floor really shows us what she has vocally. I saved the best news for last. Floor recently beat cancer!! Hoorah!!!!!! Thank you girl.
They pulled off the most perfect song, and this was one of Floors first performances as new vocalist of the band. She was so nervous to prove herself to soo many people, and she nailed it! which was her release at the end of that last note of the song
Hello Jenna. You are so correct. Our amazing 6'1" Valkyrie goddess, Floor Jansen (Yan-sen) is professionally trained and one of the most talented vocal artists (male or female) on the planet. Thank you so much for reacting to our beloved Nightwish with our 3rd and current female vocalist on lead. I highly recommend that you read all of Gabriel Bardac's comment and follow the link he provides at the end. @@nagdali9209 no we don't..😂
Since this is your first Nightwish reaction, it is my duty to give you the [updated] short history of the band concentrated by Ann Waychoff, one of the biggest Nightwish fan who has since passed away (and I am doing this in her memory):
" Nightwish was started in 1996.They are considered a Symphonic Metal band, with a female main singer.
So be prepared. lol "

@@KoalityReactions Now it's 11 PM here, and I found some time to review your reaction. First observation: the one who recommended Nightwish to you as an introduction to the Metal genre has all my respect, because this band has proven over time to be a real gateway for non-metalheads into a new musical universe. She (Floor Jansen) is definitely professionally trained. She did the Rock Academy in the Netherlands as well as Music Theatre and Opera at the Conservatory. I agree with most of them so I won't be writing here my own. Best regarts from Poland, your new subscriber.

Whoa folk?! Love folk. Definitely excited to continue and see what else NW has to offer! Thank you for the kind comment, appreciate it a lot.

What Gabriel said. Tuomas Holopainen, on keys, has three keyboards, a backing track controller, some SPFX triggers and one or two bottles of red wine behind that "pipe organ" stage decoration.
@@wangtang7768 .... I second this recommendation!

That being said, without further ado, back to NW in Tarja's era (I tried to make a selection as short as I could, really difficult to choose from their vast, outstanding repertoire lol, but there's so much more to explore as you go):
1. ruclips.net/video/YODCM26JXOY/видео.html .
Heavy! Tarja & Marko!😍 They rock so freaking amazing together!🤘
6. ruclips.net/video/VSMCD39EIMc/видео.html .
A little "belting" from Tarja, plus she and all of them headbanging hard 😍 gets me headbanging along🤘
10. ruclips.net/video/E_RRMRXJWxI/видео.html .
Welcome to Symphonic Metal and the world of Nightwish! Enjoy the ride! There are no bad songs!🤘🎸
Yes! Even in the video you can sense the energy of the fans. So cool. Can’t wait to hear more! 🤘🏼
nice reaction. nightwish are an amazing band and Floor is one of the most amazing singers and she is the most humble and down to earth woman. i hope you'll listen more nightwish and Floor. she also have a youtube channel and she released a solo album that is not metal but its amazing🥰 Floor can sing in 8 languages and she can do almost anything sing pop metal grow opera and everything you can imagine. you will be blown away from her talent
Yes! Someone else mentioned her solo stuff, so I’ll have to check that out for sure. Can’t wait to see what else she can do! Cheers.
Arguably, metal has the best musicians and singers... Nightwish is the perfect example! 🤘👍🤙
Welcome to Nightwish! You have a fantastic journey in front of you discovering the range of this group. Enjoy the ride!
Hi Jenna, greetings from UK
Thank you for checking out my favourite band 😊
I do hope that you will dip your toe into their music and I hope that you find some songs that you like
Yes, I can’t wait to continue on the Nightwish journey! Thanks for being here. Cheers!
LoL. Disturbed definitely have a foot in the metal camp as well. Won't be long before you're headbanging with the rest of us.
Hahaha Can't wait! (Though not sure my poor neck can take that!)
Hello
Nightwish Army reporting from the Netherlands.
Yes, I’ve already had so many great recommendations. Can’t wait to continue on this journey! Thanks so much.
We are there. special greetings to the General of the Army > Gabriel Bardac <
(in your comments) and of course the rest of the Nightwish army and the sabaton family

Keyboards,Songwriting. : Tuomas Holopainen
Uilleann Pipes : Troy Donockley

👋🇮🇹🖖
@@flaviovergottini652I concur
Every... Frickin... Time. Goosebumps from Floor on her last notes. Generic metal music is probably what you were thinking of. This is symphonic metal, and one of the best all time songs by Nightwish. Top 3 for me easy. Nice reaction and welcome to the wonderful world of Nightwish.
Great Voices!! Great Band! Great Track! Great Reaction!!!! Thank You so Much ✌✌✌ 🇦🇺
Your paradigm in your mind has been shifted...lol
I discovered them last August. Every song is different but amazing. As a classically trained piano teacher and singer i love analyzing their music. You never know within the song where they will lead you.
Floor can make covers better than the original too.
Subbed for more of your awesome reactions.
She went from sounding like an woodland elf, to sound like a valkyrie.
@@KoalityReactions Thank you...I can guarantee you'll be singing it in the shower after just one listen...🤣🤘
@@tonycarroll7925 hahaha music to my ears! 🎉🤘🏼

THAT WAS AMAZING!
Yes! Storytime! So glad you guys came to guide me. I had another song lined up but I’m switching it now. Can’t wait!
If you're like me, your life will never be the same after discovering Nightwish and Floor Jansen. And that's a good thing! 🤘😄🤘
Absolutely incredible Queen Floor!
Definitely will continue on the NW journey! Excited to see where it takes me. Cheers from Canada!
🤩👌💥💯🎶
The "nerviuosness" comes along while listening this magical band when you're not expecting then the unecpected.

Here are some of my favourites:
Energize me: ruclips.net/video/fjm4BrNAf6s/видео.html
Monolith of Doubt: ruclips.net/video/3TmKHkQx45U/видео.html
Dreamflight: ruclips.net/video/73-_F9prx4I/видео.html
Floor attended the then new Rock Academy in 1999 and graduated in 2003. She also studied 2 years at the Conservatory (1 year Music Theatre and 1 year Opera). Here is a link to a part of a TV show (with english subtitles) of the reunion of the class of the Rock Academy with mostly backstage footage of the Tampere concert of Nightwish in 2015: ruclips.net/video/B3NIfu0qvtg/видео.html
'After Forever' disbanded in 2009 and Floor started her own band 'Revamp' from scratch. Here she experimented with different vocal styles within one song from full operatic to death growls in seconds. Here are some examples:
Misery’s no Crime: ruclips.net/video/SNPesLFTnUg/видео.html
Disdain: ruclips.net/video/tIqzPXzhEuw/видео.html
Besides managing a band on her own she also did a lot of vocal coaching and as she is a perfectionist, she wants to do everything at 100%+. Eventually she had to pay the price and got a burnout. She had just recovered when end of september 2012 the call came from Nightwish to fill in for the remainder of the North American Tour at first as their second singer Annette got ill. Floor had just 48 hours to learn the whole setlist. There is a documentary made of this world tour: ruclips.net/video/vhExkmWKMEU/видео.html
Floor joined Nightwish after this iconic Wacken concert in 2013 as permanent member of the band. Floor continued to perform with 'Revamp’ also, but it was clear that she could not combine the two for much longer, so 'Revamp' disbanded in 2016. Floor did a side project called 'Northward' where she dived into the Hard Rock scene. The song 'While Love Died is a must see:: ruclips.net/video/bAiPeSsqD-4/видео.html
A suggestion to a christmas song sung by Floor. Here is a link to a performance in Finland with a special guest with the best seat you could imagine: ruclips.net/video/ym1Wc5dmUYc/видео.html
Her stunning performances on the Dutch TV show 'Beste Zangers 2019' gave her at last some more recognition in her home country where she was relatively unknown until then. There are numerous guest appearances with other bands to find on RUclips. To see how to get a crowd of metalheads silenced and in awe watch her featuring with the band 'Epica' and the song 'Stabat Mater Dolorosa:, ruclips.net/video/QqdvFPBGN0c/видео.html
and to see her in full opera mode, watch her rendition of 'O Mio Babbino Caro' from Puccini: ruclips.net/video/UeTyAZtV5wI/видео.html
As live concerts were cancelled and home isolation due to the Covid situation, Floor discovered RUclips in these years. Mindblowing covers, chats with her idols and other singers, vocal masterclasses, personal insights and so much more. She even made a video reacting to herself singing Ghost Love Score at Wacken. Lots of technical info and some memories of her starting with Nightwish:. ruclips.net/video/QW_3F186_5Q/видео.html
Also her Fan Friday videos are hilarious. Just unpack some of the presents she left on her channel. Also videos of her solotour she did with songs of her impressive career. Her latest endeavour is her stunning solo album ‘My Paragon.Floor is a high sensitive person, so peace and quiet is as important for her. Living by the woods in Sweden with her husband Hannes Van Dahl (drummer of the band Sabaton), daughter Freja (turned 6 years last march), and another on its way, a horse and pony, a dog and a bunch of cats, she found this.
Wow, what a busy bad ass woman. I love this! Working hard for her dreams. So cool. She deserves all the success!

Welcome to Nightwish, a journey that is worth every second.
I like research, so I made a note of this! Thanks so much for the kind comment, excited to explore more of what Nightwish has to offer. Cheers!
This is a milestone in the history of music
Welcome to Nightwish family, prepare to be blown away with every new song, and with Nightwish it's all about pure emotions, so just relax and embrace it and you'll enjoy it so much. 🤗🔥
I plan to - thanks so much!!
Hellyeahhh..!!! Nightwish ❤❤❤❤ welcome to a magical journey of music 🤟🤟
GLS is the Nightwish gateway drug. If your soul wasn’t snatched already, that final note will seal the deal! Great review.
Welcome to the world of Nightwish. Nightwish Army California checking in. hope you explore more of them! this whole concert will just blow your mind! all songs different!
Nightwish is a good journey to take .. thank you for you reaction to this Koality ..

New subscriber.
welcome to the fantastic symphonic metal universe of Nightwish Band, their live performances are some of the things that come so close to epic that they get to be mythical and of course Floor Jansen, queen of the stage and goddess of music, she can sing anything in any musical style she wants (WARNING! her voice, her stage presence, her charisma, in one word: her "spell" is highly addictive).
this concert (wacken 2013) is incredibly epic and deserves to be watched and reacted entirely, song by song, in particular I suggest these three songs: "song of myself", "storytime" and "ever dream"
this performance of "ghost love score" is one of the three best performances of the nightwish band, together with "the poet and the pendulum" from 2015 concert at the london wembley arena and "the greatest show on earth" from 2015 concert in tampere - finland (actually there is a fourth best performance: "dead boy's poem" from the 2018 concert in buenos aires).

Wellcome to the magical music of Nightwish. 100 plus songs, but not any bad ones. You will have many good vibes listening to this symponic metal band. Greetings from nwAse Sweden
Until today i cry tears if i hear her...and this concert was unreachable for anyone...she was the best choice for melodic metal EVER !
Trivia:
• Floor Jansen, Nightwish's third lead singer was good friends with Tarja, their first lead singer.

Thanks so much! Cheers from Canada.

Nightwish Army Vancouver, SW BC division reporting. Salute General and Jenna, follow Gabriel on this journey... you have started with one of the most remarkable live performances in all genres of music. Welcome
What a song to start with on your Nightwish journey; so typically a-typical for Nightwish. Thanks for the video
Welcome to the wonderful world of Nightwish and the genre Symphonic Metal. It is indeed a deep, deep rabbit hole!! Nightwish Wacken 2013 was one of those moments when a band completely clicked, every single song from the entire set is a banger, and its even more impressive when you know Floor had only joined the band about 10 months earlier while they were touring the US (she took the call to come sing for them and had just 48 hours to get to the US and learn the set list before she did her first show with the band!)
And yes, describing "metal" music can be confusing as it covers so many sub-genres and styles, symphonic metal being one of them.
Well said! 🤍
first of hundreds of upcoming reactions to nightwish, welcome to this special musicworld #floor4ever
Heck yeah!
Great reaction! Hang on.... you're in for a wild ride!
Woo! 🎉
I recommend trying a sample of all types of metal bands
Nightwish is my favorite ...i am a bit obsessed with Jinjer, Baby Metal, and Hanabie at the moment. I am going to see them all live in the next 6 weeks in New York.
Floor was an Opera singer and professionally trained there where 82 thousand people at this show in Brazil !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to the Army!
Yes, exactly: not just a song, a performance. It's not traditional metal music, although there are aspects of metal there, obviously. I'm a fan of classic metal, but maybe like symphonic metal even more after discovering Nightwish,
Great reaction
Greetings from 🇳🇱 🤘
Thanks so much! Cheers from Canada.
Originally Floor was sent by Allfather Odhinn to Midgard to gather the souls of fallen warriors to Valhalla, but she
got distracted and joined a series of bands. However, Floor still gathers souls by her grace, beauty and the sheer power
of her vocals.
Yes, I've had some more recommendations from this concert already. Can't wait! Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it. Cheers.
@@KoalityReactions thank you for the reply. I look forward to seeing you react to more NIGHTWISH videos, I don't think that I'm alone in this request 🤘🌵
Greetings from Nightwish Army U/K division. Welcome to the world that is Symphonic Metal. The world of metal is divided into a vast array of sub-genres,e.g.Heavy,Thrash,Death core, and you’ve bundled them all together. I hope you’re able to enjoy the road you’ve decided to travel in order to broaden your horizons.
That will take you to his community page where he provides links to many more Nightwish live performances (this is the band that is even better live than their in studio productions). Thank you for this reaction and keep the Nightwish live reactions coming.
