  • UP 8360, and UP 7915 lead MCHAL west, on UP's Adams Subdivision. This was filmed on Maple Road, in Sussex, WI. Well, it was exiting to get something other than a CN for a change. I saw on ATCS a train leaving the yard, and showed up here to setup. This was filmed June 20th, which happens to be the longest day of the year, so it was bonus since it was near 8 PM and it was rather bright still. The train had two units, but the leader was a rather fresh SD70ACe in UP's newest scheme. It also had a killer K5LLA! Trailing was a faded GEVO, which isn't that fancy. Very nice to get a train on the longest day of the year, along with seeing a UP train! There aren't many that run around here.

Nice catch, love that SD70ACe leader in the new scheme. I live in Kansas City and have gotten only 2 or 3 leading. If you want to catch more UP and not go to Chicagoland, come here, we have plenty.

Nice catch! Cool to see ya catching a UP train! Your right, I definitely see more CPKC and CN trains than UP. Though than again, it's not like I'm at their Milwaukee sub every day lol. That K5LLA was also loud and nice!

Thanks! The UP around here is very slow. Your guaranteed one EB, and one WB. There's always a few coal extras weekly, coke trains occasionally, and ethanol a few times a month. CP you get 8 freights daily, plus the 2 Empire's, and however many Borealis trains there are.
