(responding from my second channel where I review fragrances and such) I really wish they would make an ESV and a 13 or a 14-point font. I've even emailed them and asked them why. I really think they need to since every other translation is available in a font like that. It's absolutely baffling why they don't do it.

I find that the sweet point for me is 12 or 13. I have the old eyes issue and I find that anything larger than a 13 is actually too large for me. And, I like references in my Bibles, as well as the verse by verse format. Very hard to find! I think that some publishers may be avoiding the larger than 10 point font because it usually appeals to older folks who, face it, aren't the target market for most Bible publishers today. I was scheduled to finally have cataract surgery this last June, but family issues cropped up and I had to cancel. I'm hoping that I will be able to get it taken care of before the end of the year. I will probably continue to need reading glasses, but the words should no longer be fuzzy and difficult to read!
@@carmennooner2027 well I pray that all goes well for you! You are correct That's not the target audience however every other major Bible publisher and every other major translation has Bibles in this format. Everyone except crossway. I just find that peculiar
I agree, Crossway needs to publish a Bible in a 13 pt font. I even emailed a suggestion for that to them about 6-8 months ago. I did get a response but it just said they have no plans to do that in the near future. I just don't understand why when other publishing houses do.

I promise you if they were to put one out with some of that buffalo leather with a 13-point font or so and some end of paragraph references they would have a hit on their hands! Maybe just offer it in cowhide in that dark brown buffalo that would be perfect!

The back of the bible shows "genuine leather" so it is better than you thought. Celebrate, a blessing from God through Crossway.
