the whole "am i taking away an opportunity for him" thing is relatable. I'm also a burn survivor only its on my legs so i can hide it, but its still widespread and deep enough to cause people to question me. I currently really like this guy and its the first guy i've ever taken seriously and im terrified that he might not like me once he finds out. and its easy to say "well if he doesn't like you for you f*** it" but i just feel like this one event took away an opportunity to shine. sucks soooo bad.
I have scars and I feel so insecure. I know how you feel. But you have to try and live your life. I mean that is what you were put on this earth to do. Is live life no matter the circumstances.
To me is the same, I can hide my scars, and I keep sabotaging relationships because I still can believe would love me with my scars...I am working on myself to heal that
I pray you all find peace and love for yourselves, I can't imagine the way a woman must feel but I can relate. I can't hide my scars from my hands up my arms, to my neck, face, and head. My point is don't hide them embrace them, you are all strong and beautiful in more ways then skin deep in sure
I'm a burn survivor as well. It's hard sometimes especially trying to explain what happened
You get asked by strangers a lot eh? Honestly, true beauty is Personality and who a person is on the inside, not what we look like to others. Im a Survivor of years of physical, mental and emotional abuse and I have to wear hoodie or long sleeves in summer heat even. While I was going thru all this crap, I had a potatoes of noodles Arc with a burner while I was making dinner after a long day. It exploded in my face, so hot that the only thing holding the skin on was my eyebrows and nose and lips. I have scars from it, yes, but the plastic surgeon said I was one of the "lucky ones".. That kinda upset me as no burn or abused victim is lucky, we just live and survive, tho unscarred gawking people make that rather hard in public.
What helped me to recover mostly (still have scars, just not as much scar tissue that they show so much unless I tan or burn or get really cold like in winter) was Vitamin E oil and Coconut Butter twice daily- especially before bed. Coconut Butter first, then mix in the Vitamin E oil. Took a year for me but most my scars that are visible daily, are minimal niw.
But I won't go swimming still to this day.
Best of luck to you and all other Survivors on your Journey and never let society hold you back! Its confused anyways 😄✌
Sometimes is too difficult to tell the others what u really feel
Yess it is too dificult i am also burn survival
Me too ur nt alone
What happened to you?
Its hard to face people...😢
Iam one of the burn survivors too I had scars on my chin my arms my chest that’s really horrible I hate my self
Irish gal keeping it really real
Yup
red locarno I've seen her before on TV. She's a strong woman.
Bless her
They're all beautiful
Kawaii Sweet no they are not 😂😂
SpeakDahTruth
wow no need to be rude
@@SpeakDahTruth By whose standards exactly? Oh. Yours... Well I say they are all beautiful and not rude or cruel, nor do they judge based on what another looks like, sadly you do. The Universe is an interesting thing.
Ya know.. It could happen to you, or you could fall in love with someone that deals with it daily. Hence why the Universe is quite interesting!
@@psyii8055 I know this is 2 years old But by my standards too they all look like burnt weasels
They are all beautiful, scars and all.
The man that I'm interested in was involved in an accident where he got 95% burns and let me tell you, I'm hella attracted to him! Remember, every scar tells a unique story.
Wow all of them are just a inspiration 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
No way I can't believe you undermining her feels of rejection. I understand why she is pushing it away. I have done that for 51 years of my life because of my burn scars.
I don’t agree with the other lady. Sometimes the emotional and psychological scars are much worse for others to overcome.
I went to a conference last year for teenage cancer survivors and Catrin (the lady in the yellow jumper) was telling her story on one of the days, it was really interesting and inspirational!
Each in one of them is so beautiful they shouldn’t think bad of themselves ❤️🤟🏽May god bless them
Keeping up with Julee F##k you just don't understand.
Everyone in this video is absolutely beautiful. Love with your HEART not your EYES. 💖
For my opinion perfection doesn’t exist every one of us are unique in our own ways. Just because we bleed and breath the same doesn’t mean we have to be like everybody else. We all have different personalities different styles and different mind. That’s what makes us incredible human beings.
I wish i accept my burn scar one day , and find someone that i can tell him my secret instead of pushing everyone away
Same here. I was 1,5 years old when fire touched my body. Since then I had 74 surgeries. But the trauma from the pain, even if my mind deleted the incident is there. I sure never will find someone but it's okay. I wish you the best. Keep smiling
@@MrNixtt thank you for your respond , hope the best for you too, and hope to all to overcome this mentally and physically 😊
Makes you thankful for what you have
Yes it does
backhanded.

Wish someone would propose to me, it’s hard enough to find someone decent. Accept the proposal and all the love that comes with it. Hope we all find a person who can love us without conditions ❤️
Omg wtf they’re acc so pretty 😍❤️
she's beautiful!!!
I watched this programme last night .Very moving . I hope these people have a wonderful life despite their scares . Joy and happiness to them all .
A prime example of why not accepting yourself can ruin your life. It does not have to do with looks at all actually. Sad. I can completely relate.
You are both so beautiful.
Your scars tell a story, don't let them define you. Your all beautiful, i know it's hard but stay beautiful inside and out will shine out.i pray for you all. i'm also a survivor , SINCE the age of 18 ,43% of my body has 3rd degree burn scars, face, arms, and hands got the worse, 3 digits were removed from my hands. I'm stared at, almost never looked at by women. I've learned to just be me, they are missing out, on a good person
i have a very visible disability that affects how i look-people often think i was burned-and i identify with this so much.
There's so many guys out there that want you. Physical features really just the icing on the cake but the cake really is the person not physical features. Physical features fade no matter what and no one looks fabulous forever but you can always be a good person
I want to see the full episode😟😟
Love
That woman in white. I was quite shocked that she was undermining how the other woman felt. Like wtf. You both kbow that how she feels is like 90% based on experience and 10% her own insecurities. People are generally shit when it comes to people who are different so her assuming it is just a fact.
Wow that irish girl is an inspiration
❤️❤️❤️
1:51 when an attractive person complains about something insignificant
Thank you for that. It's so hard sometimes you just hope ppl dont even look at you.
It only works for scarred woman If it was a guy he’d have to accept being alone the rest of his life. Guys accept women but the girl wouldn’t accept the guy because she needs someone she can show off to her family and friends. Double standards.
So... Basically same sort of issues everyone and their pet has. The only difference is for some you cannot see the scars, still they affect just the same. Inside or outside, doesn't matter.
Are those 3rd degree burn scars??
I really get her, am a burn survivor from a home accidebt at the of 6 that left me with scars on my legs. Am 25 and very terrified of getting into r/ships. Am afraid of rejection. Not even my friends have seen my scars just my parents and elder sis and that was wen stillnat a younger age of 8
That eyeliner is terrible
Ayce Okur shut up
Is that all you can find to say lol. What a stupid comment I had to say it, those are burn victims
have some respect if you have any in you that is 😏
