General Choi trained karate and became black belt in japan in the 30s and early 40s. He never trained subak or tekyon. Why not mention that as the main influence?
This is bs that karate and tkd are separate arts. If you study them both, you quickly realize that tkd forms and techniques are copied from karate. Only some small details and stances differ Kata's are also much more detail oriented that speak for their originality against the poomsae I am not saying karate is any more 'original' There's only so many ways you can use your hands are feet to protect yourself
