Forgotten Grave Found in the Ozarks Gives Me Chills

This story shook me to my core. I explore seeking to find the background about the Witch of the Ozarks, or the Devil's Elbow Witch. She died on the side of a lonely forest road, and someone buried her where they found her body. This story is tense, and will keep you up at night.

I graduated high school nearby there in the 1980's. As teens, we'd empty tanks of gas driving up and down those dirt roads, exploring caves, jumping off bridges, swimming, camping, etc, Not much else to do in those rural towns. I honestly don't remember this urban legend or if I did, it wasn't memorable.
