    Spider-Man is my absolute favorite superhero, and he's why I got into comics in the first place. Amazing Fantasy #15 was my first comic book, and it just so happened to be the first comic to ever feature Spider-Man. That issue is actually why I use the number "15" in my screename. Anyway, you might be surprised to know that this isn't my favorite Spider-Man movie-- it's my third favorite after Far From Home and Into The Spider-Verse. That being said, what's your favorite Spider-Man movie?

      Still, Jeremy gave three individual sins for the exact same thing & there's really no excuse for that.
      Plus normal people tend to be in danger when supervillains get involved, especially when they are around the hero during an attack. This isn't anything new in comics/comic movies/shows as a lot of the time it's the main hero's love interest that's in the heart of danger & the hero saving them.

      That's true, but that wasn't the only thing weighing on Peter. He wasn't just losing MJ, he couldn't pay his bills, was lying to both Harry and Aunt May about things he was insanely guilty about, couldn't keep up in school, was failing at his only source of income and was generally just lost as to what his purpose in life was because he was being pulled eight different ways. Then when he sees that MJ is moving on without him, his dread deepens because the thing he wanted the most was officially away from his grasp. It's no wonder he had trouble keeping his powers in check; he was completely overloaded to the max.

You wanna know how ubiquitous it is? When I was in the army in 2013, this song would regularly be on soldiers playlists alongside Bad Company by Five Finger Death Punch and Stand Alone by GodSmack. • @Bad_At_Parties
      @Bad_At_Parties 2 года назад +13

      Good point. Part of what I love about the Raimi films is because of how the action is shot, and how much it uses Spider-Man's powers and more grounded physics, you can actually believe that moment to moment Peter is doing a bunch of calculations in his head to get the kind of velocity he needs on a swing, the degree of direction he requires to get to a certain point while zipping or swinging, and the amount of impact his punches or kicks will have. Those movies found a good way to sell the idea of Peter's intellect without having to have him narrate all the things he was calculating in the moment, and I love that.

This sin should actually be a “Jeremy is pointing things out on screen cliche” because I’m pretty sure Peter didn’t know if Harry (or his company) was actually working with/ funding Octo’s project prior to this conversation. No matter how you look at it, this scene makes absolutely no sense. If, as Th3Birdman claims, the movie is implying that Peter entered the closet through an air vent, then how would a pizza delivery guy explain how he got into the closet un-noticed right across from the receptionist's desk, without ever coming out of the elevator or the stairwell? Or even more importantly, WHY he's entering the room through the closet in the first place?
