This was awesome! I love that this covered things that could go wrong and the visual references for what that might look like. I am working up the confidence to install some hooks in my ceiling and scouring RUclips for helpful tips. This is one of the best so far, (give or take the humour, I'm on the fence). Also, the guy's delivery is a little reminiscent of Nick Offerman, so kudos to that. A gem of a vid.
What happens if your stud finder keeps on pointing out studs but every time you drill there's nothing behind the drywall That's happened to me every time I've tried to mount something to the ceiling in my garage I have yet to find a single piece of wood in my ceiling
@@alysonlofgren3328 I found out the issue (for me) is if you have a living space above your garage they place metal extenders below the beams so there isn't actually a wooden beam connected directly to the ceiling of your garage. They do this to keep the living spaces from overheating.

I throughly enjoyed the little jokes in the video. It was also helpful.
Good tip about using a sheet of paper when using studfinder. We have that popcorn-y junk which makes it more difficult to find the joists.
2:46 two of the problems I’m having, and a stud finder giving me multiple readings
the passive aggressive jokes loooool
Good practical advice! 🙂

Why does it sound like Seth Rogen is narrating this?
Thought it was Michael Fisher, aka mr mobile
