This battle was easier than I expected: only Togekiss managed to annoy a little, but nothing that my team couldn't handle. I was happily surprised with my Garchomp outspeeding Cynthia's, and even more surprised with that critical hit. It really made this battle much more easier.

I remember doing that in Diamond. The last Pokémon I had to see for the Pal Park to open was one of Cynthia's (Spiritomb). I actually manage to get this far and see her Spiritomb. I still lost in the end. Then I came back with my Leafgreen Blastoise and Dragonite, Lv. 100.
Six Pokémon all of different types, a Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon, and amazing music: Cynthia is my favorite champion of all time.
Five years later and I now realize you used a different team member to take out a different opponent Pokemon...

Probably is IV and EV trained
Definitely scarfed. Cynthia runs perfect IVs and full EVs on attack and speed with a Jolly nature so there’s no possible way to out speed without a scarf
@@aaronlewis9577Nah incorrect believe it or not I outsped her Garchomp with my Garchomp without a scarf, of course I did ev train and completely max out it’s speed stats combine with adamant nature but bare in mind I was like 10 levels lower than it and still got the first attack so yeah…

goddamn i remember in platinum back in 2009.....what happend was i was in my last pokemon clefable it was a shiny and her last pokemon was garchomp my clefable was on red health since she outspeed me then i used metrenome and GODDAMN WHATHEFUCK ROAR OF TIME

@@Fish21 I would've used my boy Lucario but I always do for one and two that wouldve been two fighting and steel types and i like mixed type teams

How was Spiritomb's Shadow Ball not very effective?
In Gens II (when the Dark and Steel type were introduced) through V, Steel was resistant to Dark and Ghost.

I tend to feel disappointed whenever the rival isn't the champion.
Fabulous Metrocop Cynthia wasn't a rival but she was like a friend to the player. She was there at certain parts of the player's journey and at the end challenges them for the title of Champion after praising their skill and growth as a trainer.
I remember that I beat Cynthia one Friday in my room after going to eat and coming back, at level 45 and later and up and it was lucky that Cynthia's garchomp failed several times Dragon Rush giving Advantage with my gastrodon that had ice beam and blizzard , There I think that my gastrodon froze the part of garchomp's head and that is why it was difficult for him to do dragon rush
EV training?
I thought mirror coat supposed to retaliate special attack twice the damage received? Isn't leaf blade a 'special attack' ?
It was in 3rd gen... but since 4th gen, it became physical already.. I think it was special at 3rd gen so that sceptile would be strong because its special attack is greater than its attack ...
Oh.. I see. The types of attacks must have been classified differently from 3rd gen to 4th gen.
+Khai ri 4th gen introduced the "physical-special split". In Gen 1,2,3 the move being physical or special was based on the pokemon type (Physical was Bug, Flying, Fighting, Normal, Ghost, Ground, Poison, Rock, and Steel; Special was Grass, Water, Fire, Ice, Psychic, Dark, Dragon, and Electric). In generation 4 and beyond, the move being physical or special depended on the type of move (Water Moves like Aqua Jet became physical, Grass moves like Leaf Blade became physical, Hyper Beam became special, etc.)

Fun Fact: Cynthia was so tough in Diamond and Pearl, in Platinum they nerfed her team and replaced her Gastrodon with a Togekiss.

Her team definitely wasn’t nerfed. Level wise didn’t actually mean much in terms of difficulty, because it’s naturally in the 60’s. Here, in Platinum, they gave her Pokemon more type coverage, which means that she covers a lot more bases. Got rid of Gastrodon, which was her easiest team member, instead a bulky Togekiss with an Aura Sphere/Shock Wave/Water Pulse/Air Slash moveset. Garchomp knows Flamethrower instead of Giga Impact, Spiritomb and Lucario have new movesets, she switches her team members out... she’s way harder here in this fight, I think.

Pokmon platinum was the hardest elite 4 and champion for me. I remember i had a gyarados fighting magmortar and i was confident that id beat magmortar and it had thunderbolt!!!!!

Lucario is the evolved form of Riolu because it uses auras to communicate & fight.

Got to use Pikachu, Noivern, sylveon, greninja, mega lucario and infernape to beat the remakes of diamond and pearl.
Milotic is the evolved form of Feebas because it can use Recover due to injury in battle.

Player pokemon have EVs and Cynthia's pokemon have no EVs.
You get some EVs everytime you defeat a pokemon. EVs are hidden values that decide how much stats will increase on level up
I know the beat thing to win elite four start Whit chimchar use only IT as attacker and other like healers and chimchar are now lvl 60

If you defeat the elite four, you'll come across the champion. Speaking of champion, the Pokémon league champion of Sinnoh is Cynthia. So she will have Spiritomb, Garchomp, Milotic, Togekiss, Lucario, and Roserade. If you defeat her in the final battle, you'll finally reach the Pokémon league Hall Of Fame.

You makes EV on your pokemons it's not fun because the game is too easily after
you get EVs through beating like every pokemon, it's nearly impossible to have no EVs
@@xyzzy-dv6te yes but in this case he trained to improve the EVs, not like he was just fighting the battles and moving on, at one point he stopped and trained the pokemon specifically for this battle and the elite four
