- So youtube won't share my videos unless they are making them money!!!! So unfortunately if I want to keep growing my channel, youtube wants ads on the videos! such bummer
Well, we reach the final episode of our outback family holiday, and I have to say it's a fantastic trip. I have to give a big thanks to larissa and the kids for putting up with my obsession with travelling around Australia.

The kids and dogs scene was hilarious. Thanks for another great episode 👍😊
I know they are ridiculous 🤣
Awesome, add frees great. What a fantastic trip. Looking forward to that next video
Cheers mate 🍻 thanks for the support 👍
Travel in’ with dogs! Another dimension to family travel in’ life 🤣🤓🎶🐸👍
A great family adventure. Lots of memorable moments. We also loved the underground carvings. So much talent! Until the next adventure.
Love your vids. Just great to watch. Top shelf 👌
Cheers mate, just doing what we love 🤠👍
Another great video guys. Well done on getting out of a sticky situation. We have just made it to Tilpa (Friday 1st) and set up camp at the Weir on the Bourke road, heading for Bourke and north. The roads have dried out but repair crews are around doing what they do.
Jealous! It was such a amazing camp spot when we were there 7 years ago, was really hoping to get there again 😢
Always love your videos, I start to watch, enjoy the banter and the scenery then bang, its over. You always have me riveted. Thanks Haley, Joe, Larissa and Adam!
Our pleasure Ben, it's so much fun on these family holidays and love the fact we don't have to try and sell anything, just enjoy our time together. Thanks for the support 👍 🤠
Aww...those shallow bogs...red and over here they have the black soil grass spins. 1 inch deap and going nowhere...lol
Interesting town stop. Cheers for the films. Very enjoyable. Hoping to travel again once I get well again. Safe travels.
Awesome to see some realistic, non scripted adventure. Loved every short minute of it. Will go and catch up on other trips. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! We love sharing what we do and showing people you don't need all the bells and whistles. Happy to answer any questions and thanks for the support and joining us 🤠👍
allways great to watch and share your family adventures guys ... keeps us sane here...cheers from 2 west aussies in Saudi😊
Our pleasure! Such a amazing thing, our little adventures being watched on the other side of the world! Really humbled. Thanks guys for your support every week, really appreciate it 👍 🤠🇦🇺🍻
Looks like a fun trip out to Wilcannia. That aboriginal rock art at Lighting Ridge is dead-set the best that I have ever seen. Super-impressive. That tribe should get a Purlitzer Prize for "Excellence in Rock Art". Normally the rock art that the aboriginals do is just some white hands and some sort of animals that look like more like aliens. Well down to the Lighting Ridge aboriginal tribe and its elders and its youngers in the group. A tip for keeping your max tracks clean from the mud - buy a small vacuum cleaner from Big W that plugs into your cigarette lighter. That way you can clean off your max tracks and your wellington boots of any of that jolly sticky messy mud. That is a great tip for your next video. Good work. Cheers Brian.
Loved the sculptures, I’ve put that place on my want to visit list 👍👍
It was a great experience, sometimes those touristy things are overpriced and tacky, but this one was genuinely interesting and fun
amazing how quick it gets slick out there. Enjoy the planning for the next one
Yeah that mud was something else, think if I just gased it the patrol would have sunk big time 🤠👍
Really great episode to finish your outback holiday. Always an absolute pleasure to watch your channel. The shiny stuff you may have picked up while fossicking at lightning ridge could have been potch, which is in the seams where opal is found. Can look nice when polished but not worth much.
Thanks Jason, your probably right about the potch, but if it keeps Joe happy for a hour it's gold🤣
Another inspiring video from you all 🥰🤠 Definitely put some Benny Hill music to the dogs/kids rope fiasco hahaha.
Maxtraxx also can come with a peg kit or can peg them down too, depending on time/situation.
Also Adam, if you’re tired of breaking your necks on the aluminium side step. Bunnings sell black Croc Grip tape that fits great inside the groves of the step and step casing if you get the correct mm width (i forget sorry). Looks awesome, removable and never slip again. Also comes in glow in the dark.
Thanks again for the videos. Every time I see one of your videos it helps me want to get out of the house finally (long story). Safe travels all ✌🏼
🤣 yeah the kids and dogs are something else 🤣. That glow in the dark tape on the sidesteps sounds interesting 🤔 great tip, keep them coming, love different points of view and ideas. Thanks for the support 👍 🤠
Another great show guys thanks for sharing
Our pleasure! Thanks for the support 👍 🤠
Well done!!
Cheers mate 👍
Enjoying your vids very much. I've watched lots and lots of 4WD videos where people get stuck in some way, then use Maxtrax to get out. I can probably count on the fingers of one hand how many others I've seen where cheap knock-offs deliver the same result. For me, the real deal is very cheap insurance at the end of the day. As an observation though, most people don't spend the time digging them in properly. I've found that if you dig under the wheels and place the Maxtrax so that the vehicle effectively drops down onto the Maxtrax as it starts to roll it can save a lot of wheelspin as the tyre tries to hook onto the lugs of the Maxtrax.
Thanks mate, yeah I've used cheap knock off's before and they didn't last long or bend straight after using them. Spot on, digging definitely helps especially if towing. Cheers for the support and positive comments 👍
Lovely Ep guys in some awesome spots.
Thanks a ton!🤠
Maxtrax are a god send when you stuck. Used our on our last trip recently and also the winch to get us out. Looks like you went to many of places we did when did similar trip last year. I loved the sculptures at lightning ridge. Particularly the one of Rolf Harris.
We don't leave home without the recovery boards nowadays, they are the go to items for most situations 🤠
Great vid... least not crowded :-)
Cheers mate 🍻🤠
That good old outback mud. It's interesting as it sticks to everything but yet it is also the most slippery stuff. 🙃 Are those Maxtrax the ones you did your home-made repair job on ages ago? And I didn't realise there was so much to see at Lightning Ridge. I'll have to add that to my itinerary. Thanks for bringing us along again on your trip.🙂
Yes the orange board with the bolts is holding up great, such a great fix. We've been to lightening Ridge twice now and it's a fantastic place, really nice people too. Definitely worth a trip out and a great place to start a outback experience 🤠👍🍻
Good recovery from the slops.
Yeah if you just hit the power, we would have probably sunk to the belly. But limited wheel spin and revs and the recovery boards and its easy. Cheers for the support 👍 🤠
Go the Patrol ! cool to see ! congrats on your trip ! 🏜️🏞️🛻📹😎🤙
Great vid, great fam adventures 👌 If you are looking for destinations .... Hill End, Sofala, Turon River. It would be a bit of a trip for you, but I doubt you will be disappointed
I'll have to check them out, always look for new places to see. Keep them coming. Thanks for the support 👍 🤠
That is interesting, I just noticed the Egytian rock art - the aboriginals must have traded things like boomerangs and didgeridoos and dot paintings with the Egytians. The Egytians must have taught those aboriginals the finer points of rock art and sculpture in return. Who would have thought that that was possible? Damn impressive. It makes sense however because the Egytians taught the Mayans and Aztecs in South America how to build pyramid temples. Antiquity is so full of surprises and interesting tit bits of information and fact. Cheers Brian.
How many where’s Wally did you find? I love going out to Lightning Ridge.
Are so you've been in the mine too, it's a fantastic tour. Lightning Ridge is such a great town, and so much to see and do. Cheers for the support 👍 🤠
What, no shocked looking faces and click bait titles caliming you are trapped in the middle of nowhere? Shame on you, don't you know RUclips is click bait city now LOL.
🤣 yeah we see it all the time, gets really tiring too. Thanks mate for the support 👍 🤠
👍👌❤️🇨🇦
👍🍻🤠
When you get into the poo the GQ gets you through.
Yeah it's a amazingly capable vehicle, but those recovery boards are almost a mandatory part for all our adventures 😀
Thanks for the adventure. I do find the background music distracting when you are talking e.g. at Lightning Ridge mine tour. Cheers. 👍🏻🙏🦘
