  • Try some of my fav Ergogenics protein powder: www.ergogenics... The Watersprite Lake Trail is one of the best kept secrets in Squamish.As with all sea to sky hikes, expect some chaos, bodies, and a suffer to the alpine. Once you're up there, it's paradise! Hang by the lake, go for an alpine dip or summit one of the nearby peaks. It's a playground. The Mamquam FSR is in pretty decent condition, but I wouldn't recommend a low clearance car. Any SUV with a bit of additional clearance will do the trick. I can't wait to go back to Watersprite. Next time I'm bringing a floatie.

    Your enthusiasm for life and the outdoors is infectious brother.
    This wasn't an easy trail to hike. But a dip in that pristine lake must've been worth it.

      The alpine dip was so goood! The outdoors makes life amazing. Happy I could pass on the good vibes your way.

    I love your pause's for liquid courage. Reminds me of the old days when we would share a small bottle of a German bitter called Underberg. Came in handy for many occasions, chiefly the ski lift.

      @@riseandalpine It is basically a jager bomb. We have substituted Jagermeister, however, it doesn't come in the small bottles at least not to my knowledge. If I find some I'll share the info

    What a sweet hike. I miss the west. Could you hike diamond head or black tusk? I never got to hike those when I lived in Whistler.

      Pretty surprising! Wherever you go, if you hike past the main attraction and off the trail you'll always find solitude. Gotta love it.

    Spectacular! Is there no risk to drinking water out of the lake without treating it? Apparently not. Those boulder fields all came tumbling down at some point, I wouldn't want to get caught in a rockslide. It's nice to see you've picked up a sponsor👍

    • @riseandalpine
      @riseandalpine  Год назад +2

      I always treat my water using that squeeze bottle you saw me use. Loads of people don't filter in the alpine. There's alway marmot's pooping, so I'd always rather air on the side of caution. A rockslide would be super spooky. Fingers crossed most of those big ones moved a few thousand years ago.
