The ski sauce store is fully restocked. Grab sauce, gaiters & stickers while you can! I'm bad at math so I probably didn't buy enough inventory again 😂www.skisauce.com/?srsltid=AfmBOopH6C2-mmRdeBQH55hSzBGZftjoUOB01jeG_1BSa2yr26ZGViWZ
We love road trips!! Fernie is the kind of place you'd want to be your home mountain. It's pretty big not a lot of crowds with good snow and excellent all around skiing. Not the hardest stuff out there but that's ok. Mad props to Laura for hitting the corner pocket!! Yeee Haw!! Happy New Year!! 🙂🙃🙂🤪
Senior skier from the way back machine here living in Florida. Happy wife and all that. Love your videos! You hype me up for my first ever Whistler Blackcome trip in March!!
Love having the run names in the video now. Best ski videos on the youtubes just got better! Fernie looks sick, never been there but planning on hitting it up while im staying in kimberly, now I have some idea which runs to check out, thanks!
Fernie is such a vibe. Super fun good tree runs and amazing bowls for someone like me that loves hot laps hitting jumps cliffs and chutes it is one of the best playgrounds ever. My best advice is stay high. White pass and bear chair. And explore some super cool stuff to find and sometimes entrances that seem scary but are actually chill will hold amazing snow
Beutiful glades.!!! Wow youve been on answome trip 6 days sking in a row very impressive usually after 4 i need or my legs tell me you need a day off. Enjoying your videos very much !!
We're booked for a week at the end of Feb. Been doing a different spot each year and the one thing James hasn't mentioned, is how close the hill is to the town. Really looking forward to the 6 minutes it takes to get from our rental to the hill.
The hill is the backdrop of the town, it's basically at the foot of the resort, right on the Elk river. I always enjoy the views on the drive into Fernie approaching from the east, because the resort towers over the panorama, and is visible from 20 kms out... Highway 3 winds it's way through the first couple mountain ranges, this side of the prairies, and most of the towns are situated right along it. Makes for some nice easy access, compared to say, WhiteWater or Kicking Horse. You'll love Fernie. Gotta eat at Nevados if you like tequila bars.
Thanks for the glacier cave and runs tips, was really awesome to meet you on the lift at 7th few days ago and appreciate the content and knowledge you bring. Regretful didn’t get the chance to say this to you in person. Love the work keep fucking going my boy
Awesome video! Was wondering if you or anyone else in the comments can give me some pointers on what areas I should check out/ski at Whistler Blackcomb (If the weather allows everything to open). Coming up from NZ I have 4 days there during my trip at Whistler. I'm a reasonable skier being able to do most blacks and some double blacks (not all) here in NZ. Thanks!
The tire run and a lot of the traverse runs to get to a lot of those hidden places can be really sketchy sometimes, last year in January there was one that was sheer ice heading down into lizard bowl. fun times.
Sounds like we've got the same feet issues. High end step, the bump on top, skinny lower legs. I'm looking at intuitions, zip fits or other. Got any thoughts?
Man, Fernie looks goo-ood, this year... I don't miss the traverses, or the run outs tho...I also hear they did some heavy duty run maintenance over the summer. Some of those cuts were starting to look like Big Timby...
My bro needs to do some dedicated lecture vids. How did this not occur to me until my 3rd watch through? 😆 We need a hung over sermon, on Sunday mornin', Preacher man. Impart some hard wisdom on your congregants. You do have that certain look. That righteous je ne c'est quoi?
When is Laura going to make her own channel without you? All you did was whine about your boots, your skis, how sore you are... blah blah blah. I think you're just afraid that she's getting better than you and would have 10x the subs in no time.

I totally agree with everything you said❤
thanks for putting the run names back in the vids, helps me out for scouting future trips!
Just took a screenshot of the channel so I can show my friends when you hit 1 million subscribers! Love the videos keep them up!
Morning Glory was always my favourite run. The short hike and tucked out of site kept folks away and the trees are perfect

Kimberley is fun across every chair, you really can't miss. Fernie is somewhat of a bigger beast, but if ye seek, ye shall find.

Sweet video as always.Used to live in Fernie - the Snow Valley ( and play music in the Griz bar ). Now I see you guys @ WB. Cheers James and Laura
Few people understand how grueling bowling is on the body. Thoughts and prayers for your left butt cheek.

The Northern has a good beer list. Fernie Hotel, is also another good watering hole. Went there for lunch yesterday.

Love the videos man, you ever make your way over to QC? Mont Tremblant interests me but no good videos on it

The Castle as you mentioned was the house from Hot Tub Time Machine. ICYDK

To have Fernie, with most terrain open, to yourself, at high tide, is neither realistic, or fair. This is CGI trash. Unsubscribed. 😆
