  • How to Manage Root Rot of Adenium in Monsoon
The video shows how to solve the problem of a big root rot of an adenium plant. After uprooting the desert rose it is found that a big root has been rotten. Then the following steps are shown to manage the root rot.
    1. Cut off the rotten root with some fresh tissue.
    2. Dip the roots in fungicide solution for 30 minutes.
Here I have taken one teaspoon SAAF in 4 Lt water.
    3. Dry the cut area in sun for 15 minutes.
4.Cover the cut area with fungicide paste.
Here I use fungicide SAAF. Cinnamon powder may be used if SAAF is not available.
    5. Now leave the plant hanging in shade for 10-15 days.
    6. Repot in fresh soil after drying.
    7. Use dry soil mix.
    8. Keep the desert rose in bright shade after repotting.
    9. Apply full water after 2-3 days.
    10. Shift the adenium plant in sun after new leaves appear.
The present leaves will possibly turn yellow and fall down.
These leaves may be cut off before drying.
Here I haven`t cut the leaves to see the effect.
