Obrigado.
Love the video as well the talent behind gardening. Hats off to you sir......
Pls let me know how you treat the roots of young seedlings for better root structure in future? Pls comment.......🤔🥺🤯💖
I let the plant grow in natural way for a life cycle year i.e. growing(after 1st potting ) - flowering - -dormancy - growing ( You see one cycle is over and the plant comes back to growing stage again.) Then I judge its root shape and decide for a project.I repot in deep pot for long roots and in shallow pots for short /radial roots and fat caudex. I also set the roots in position the ai want in future. It needs some repotting i.e. some years.
Amazing idea
Thank you! Cheers!

Здравствуйте! Зачем крестом положили в горшок палочки, не поняла?
Exelente trabajo... Que lo colocaste dentro del plástico negro ??. Saludos desde Colombia.
Thanks. It`s sand.
Я сейчас умру! В Челябинске этих деревянных палочек для суши - пруд пруди!!!! Хоть все каудексы мира облагораживай!!!!
If you cut one of the big thick roots will the tree suffer? And why let it dry for 10 days? You have very good videos and you have convinced me of buying one! 😄🌸
The plant will suffer but it will soon recover from suffering. Drying reduces the chance of rotting. It also gives other benefits.
Nice video...
Thanks.
Sir, please make video of stages of growth from seeds to one year plant .. like sowing of seeds to germination, when to transfer seedgrown plants to big pot, what fertilizer used...upto one year ...
@@spat2024 Ok. I`ll try.
Thanks again Dot basecamp. You have taught me so much.
Glad to hear it from you !
What would happen if you left the roots exposed without the sand covering?
Essse produto azul q passa oque e ele pode me dizer por favor sera q n Brasil tem
Sir, how we are able to take judge that in which manner we keep adenium roots to growth. Kindly give answer about you tide the adenium roots in pot. If you cover this by black plastic cloth. What is about sunlight!?! Plz answer👌👍🤔
If you want to grow radial roots it`s in your hand. Otherwise observe the natural growth of the root and select the shape you want to see in future and train accordingly.
I don`t want to get this part of the root exposed to sun now. I`ll remove the plastic after some days .
Bom demais. Amei. Brasil.
Obrigado.

Thanks.
Such an informative video. And the music was so mesmerising.
Glad you liked it!
It would be helpful to know what the age is of the plant that you're working on at the time. I get sad seeing the size of yours and mine are so tiny
May be 2-3 years.
Falta mostrar os resultados. Mas o trabalho é belo. parabéns
Thank You very much.
It is hard to buy it from Canada.
Sorry to hear that.
👏👏👏🧠👏👏👏
Whats the name of fungicide you are appyling...
Lindo amei
Thanks.
Beautiful !! Let me try n I shall inform U d result !!
Sure 😊
After 7 days what happen u should see,
Not satisfied.
How long do you leave the temporary layer of sand at the top before removing?
3-4 months
My baby Adenium codex is shrinking after repotting. Plant of 6 months.
Please give details . Potting media, time of repotting etc.
Se eu tivesse como te mostrar, te mostraria as minhas que podei e fiz os caudex dessa forma. Amei os resultados. Próxima minguante as trocarei de vasos novamente. Parabéns!
Eager to see.
What kind of fungicide are you using? Thank you for the video, congratulations!!!
I use SAAF (Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63%)
Instead of use SAAF (toxic) you can use a mix of pure sulfur and cinnamon. If you mix it with beeswax you get a paste you can apply. You can also mix with the balsam you buy to cover cuts on trees. Works also as anti fungal mix.
Nice video sir.
Am following u for an year.

.
I have one problem,
My adenium plant flowers or not turning into pods even after hand pollination.can 7 please help.
So nice of you.
Either the plant is not matured enough or is suffering from micro nutrient. Take care of other care tips. It will definitely grow pods.
what is the name of this fungicide
@@magno798 (name of the fungicide is)''so nice of you''.
Want to get the big chopstick you use. Can you tell us where to order? Love this video. Learning now to try the root training.
I made it myself.
It looks like it works great. Good job.
For the root training repot, u don’t need the soil to be moist or wet?? Dry soil is fine after 10days?? Thank you in advance!!
Here I`ve used moist soil. You can use dry soil and water after some days if any large root is cut off.
Olá, qual é esse produto verde que o Sr usa nos cortes?
What fungicide do you use. Where can we get the turntable you are using. And the two wooden sticks?
I use fungicide SAAF (Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63%). The turn table is self made with the help of an welder. You may search online store for it. The wooden sticks are hand made.
Please show results of every video
Videos with results will come after winter.
Dear Master, thank you for this video. Do you think the cinnamon is not as good as the fungicide? Could you tell me, please, what is the minimum surviving night temperature fot Adeniums?
Cinnamon is used as fungicide but I`ve no experience how good it is because I never use it. If adeniums are dry and in dormancy they could survive from 32 degree F. Other times it`s fatal to them.Below 50 DF for several days may cause root rot and branch tips damage. So above 50 degree F is safe though not favorite to adeniums.
@@dotbasecamp Thank you Master.
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hi, what’s kind of compost do you add into the soil? Can I use my own compost that made from kitchen stuff for the soil. Thanks
I exactly do that. I don`t add animal parts to my compost bin.
dot basecamp 😊 thank you
May I know where’re your location? How i wish I could buy Bonsai plant from you.I am so amazed
I am from West Bengal, India.

Want to see update
When is the best time/season to cut n propagate adenium plant? I'm from northeastern part of India. M in love with ur adenium. Tq
Spring is the best time.
@@dotbasecamp is it now the right season to propagate adenium?
@@kabigaigangmei3729 You may propagate though not the most appropriate time. keep the baby adeniums / cuttings out of rains.I put some cuttings on 13/05/2020 and they are developing well.
No hace ninguna explicación. Para que le envuelve esa cinta negra, de que materil es la cinta. Que es lo que le echa despues
It`s plastic sheet to hold sand.
Acha jii ye Jo ap kar rahe hain wo kab our konse season main Karna hai our kitni baar Karna hai
Any time except winter. Spring is the best time. One repotting takes about an hour.
Why it need to hanged/dried up? What happen if you repot it directly? TIA
Benefits of hanging actually for drying
1. A little drying helps the cut wounds heal quickly.
2. Drying instigates the plant to produce more feeder roots to search for water and nutrient( as it had been in fasting for some days ) and store them in the storage organ i.e. the caudex. As a result the plant springs to life with more branches and the caudex grow massive.
If we repot it directly , there is a chance of rotting from major cut wounds.
@@dotbasecamp thank you for the reply and clear explanation. I enjoy your video and learnt a lot. Looking forward for other videos.
