  • In this video we had shown how to start training your adenium Seedling for bonsai from early stage...
    Here we had demonstrated how to develop radial roots in adenium seedling.... Demonstrated two process..
    ( Like, Share & Subscribe Please 🙏🙏)
    1.. Without drying the seedling
    2.. With drying the seedling
    Both Process work for this project.... But you have to take extra care while watering in this process.... Uploading this video ( in march 2019 ) because it is very correct time to implement this process....
    In summer time it may possible that upper layer of cocopeat dry within a day.. so frequent watering required... so before watering must consider the point that i explained in this video...
    light brown -- brown == sprinkle water
    dark brown -- darkest brown = no watering

    I did this to my seedling and I regret it. Even though I used an anti fungal and let the wound dry the birds pulled it out the soil and I had to repot it. And it ended up making the plant sick and the bottom rotted. A plant that hasn't been cut is less susceptible to slight over watering but when you create a wound more bacteria and fungus can get inside. So nope. Had to cut more off. Let dry and put it back in fresh soil. I don't want to touch it or water it because im scared it dies. Just wouldn't ever cut healthy roots off a plant for radial roots every again. It's not worth it. The way this plant grows its roots naturally is way more beautiful anyway. Just saying I don't have the heart to do this to a plant ever again. No thank you.

    Can we use peat moss as well?

    • @GardeningNeedsPatience
      @GardeningNeedsPatience  5 лет назад +1

      Yes, both are different things... Cocopeat is byproduct of coconut & peat moss is mainly made up of dried sphagnum moss & other organic matter. But, sorry i don't know the exact outcome of this procedure with peat moss, because i haven't tried with it 🙏.

    • @RJain312
      @RJain312 5 лет назад +2

      I think it might just work with peat moss as it has the same aerated and water retention capacity as cocopeat. But use Fungicide - that's imp.
      However, cocopeat is fairly easily available.
      But tread with caution. And let us know the result, if you try.

      Implement this technique only when you are interested in making a perfect "BONSAI PLANT " which have perfect roots system " i.e RADIAL ROOTS "..... How long before I can transplant it to a planter? Or will it always need a rock to support the bottom?

    • @GardeningNeedsPatience

      When roots are properly develop, transplant it in a bigger planter... The purpose of rock beneath the roots is just to train the roots, so that it grow radially... Not go straight downward... Skip this step when you get desired result.

      Para obtener el mejor resultado, realice este procedimiento durante el verano, cuando la temperatura sea superior a 62 ° F (17 ° C). Creo que noviembre - marzo es lo mejor. Pero, si desea probarlo durante los meses más fríos, después de cortar las raíces de la planta, séquelo a la sombra durante unos días. Luego, plantéelo en una capa húmeda y mantenga la planta en interiores en un lugar luminoso. Y riegue solo cuando el suelo se seque.

      Cinnamon is a natural rooting hormone and fungicide. Can dip fresh cuts in let dry 7 days and pot. Willow paste/water is awesome or even putting Willow stick cutting in soil vertically next to any plant you want to root and the Willow sap will run down and infuse with soil. Old school knowledge. Also watering 1x month with peroxide at a ratio of 1:5 water is proven to help with root stimulation/pest/fungus control and it arates the soil. Peroxide decomposes into water after it reacts. I've done this with, pothos, peace lily, cat to majesty palms, monstera delisiosa and swiss cheese one, Jade, aloe, cactus and sucs as well as my plethora of bonsai . And to clean critters off moss I collect and other foraged brick a brack. Plants are amazing! If you read this far then accept my apology for budding in with a rant.

    Very nice, I've got a couple of questions; can you do this procedure with any branch from the plant or does it need to have roots? And, what procedure do you recomend to make the roots thicker as the plant grows, sort of a bonzai way, thanks in advance for your advice!

    • @GardeningNeedsPatience
      @GardeningNeedsPatience  5 лет назад +8

      Yes we can do this procedure with branch also.. check my video how to grow adenium cuttings... After performing all the steps just let the plant to grow... After 6 months or while next repotting, observe the roots system first... As you can see in my video, many roots developed around the caudex region... If i let them grow then they can overlap... So you have to decide, which roots you want to keep... & Cut the adjacents roots... Follow this step in clockwise or anticlockwise.... By doing this , you creating space for the roots to grow further... arrange the roots on soil surface and again repot it and let it grow...🙏

      I recommend not to buy Adenium seeds online.. Better to get fresh seeds from some known persons.

    • @GardeningNeedsPatience

      If rooting hormone powder is available, then must use it... otherwise you can skip it... But must use fungicide powder & water carefully...

    Nice information 👌 best
    Mere adanuim ke grow huve 21 din hogaye he to wo ab dhire dhire Marne lage he saree to Kya Karu
    Transplant karna chahiye ya fir barish ki rah dekhu

    • @GardeningNeedsPatience
      @GardeningNeedsPatience  5 лет назад +1

      Abhi Seedlings ko shade me rakhe.... Aur soil ko hamesa moist rakhne ki koshish kare, completely dry nahi hone de..... Sunlight ke exposure me ( summer time ) aur dry air ke Karan seedling dry hone lagte hai... abhi transplant karenge to seedling aur stress me a jayenge.... app abhi kewal pani me fungicide powder mila kar seedling aur soil per spray kar de.... Mausam kuch thanda hone par transplant kar lejiyega..

    Quien es lo blanco que se coloca en la maseta?

    • @GardeningNeedsPatience
      @GardeningNeedsPatience  5 лет назад +2

      1. Mezcla de suelo: perlita + coco turba + fungicida en polvo
      2. Después de cortar las raíces de la planta, aplicamos la hormona de enraizamiento en polvo.
      3. Al plantar en una maceta, manténgala en una lámina de poliestireno o use cualquier placa de plástico.
