This is the best video I've come across for the pruning and repotting. I'm new in adenium care . So I would like to know in which season should we do the pruning of the adenium plant?
thanks for the description. So I did the translation. There is a large Brazilian audience that like RD videos. Try for subtitles that will get this audience easier.
You are very clear and I understood every step. Thanks for the instructions in the correct form Sir. Well done. I can't wait to try your method. God Bless you.
I also use turmeric powder as I didn't have fungicide. That time I didn't have that much knowledge abut fungicide. When i found little fungus on it, I didn't get any other way. Just use my common sense and applied turmeric powder. When I saw your video I am so happy that I am on right track. Thanks
Please tell me the name of the anti- fungal I should use in the USA. I believe I heard you say that this one you're using is not available in the U.S. is that right? Edit: I see that you told another person to use cinnamon powder. 🙂 My desert rose was knocked over a couple days ago. I've been wanting to try this process out. I believe now is the perfect time but I need all the necessary products you've used here. The anti-fungal being very important. One question about that, you were applying it to what looks like the caudex where the roots are growing from. Is this where you had sliced off the roots? Thank you 🙂🙏
Search fungicide available in your local market. Otherwise use cinnamon powder. Use fungicide on the cut, may be its caudex, root or branch. Do you mean "sliced of the root " for radial roots ? Then cut at the juncture of the caudex & the main root or a little bit lower to the root.
Hello, firstly I wanna thank for your all beatiful and deductive videos about adeniums.I've just started to grow adenium and I have some questions about them because I saw that you're the most viewed person about adenium in youtube. *My first question is about root training; is there a certain time for it to start it. For ex, root training can be apply to three months baby adeniums? *Second question about grafting; I saw in the videos that grafted branches generally doesnt have thick caudex bodies on their lives, is there a way to get thick caudex body on grafted brached? *3rd one about fungicides; what is the content on your fungicides? *Why did u apply a seedling on the top of a brach, another variety grafting as branch is usual but seedling grafting is really interesting, it is only because of visuality or is there a quite reason getting thick caudex on the upperside of the brach? *Did you make your or turning table and how could please help about that? So many questions, if you will answer, I will be appreciated. Again thank you for all these really beatiful videos.
1. I generally allow my baby adeniums grow freely for a life cycle year( watch video) and then started any training considering their caudex and root structure. For a three months old seedling what you can only do is to cut a part of the long main root. 2. Do you mean grafted branch as seedling grafted ? Then I agree with you. Seedlings grafted on another plant do not grow as fat caudex as they grow when individually plantsd. It`s my experience. 3. Fungicide SAAF (Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63%) 4.Seedling grafting is mainly to make an adenium tree with different look. 5. Watch the video on making the turn table. Thanks. Stay well.
Nice video! So you cut excess roots and branches, dry, then replant by raising caudex to increase the size of the caudex and get more branches, yes? I have heard another say to bury the caudex deeper o get bigger fat caudex so it sure is confusing but I appreciate any tips you can offer.
Informative video...thank you. I normally use Cinnamon as a fungicide. 🌿🌱🌳 *QUESTION;* Will a combination of Tumeric & Cinnamon be okay? I live in the Western Pacific, so it's practically summer here with the exception of rainy/dry/typhoons seasons between the months of May thru November.
Hi I enjoyed watching your video. You are very good with Adeniums. I haven’t got one and I don’t know if I can raise it here in UK. But it is so interesting and educational just watching your videos. Thank you 😊
@@JyotiSharma-ik9yi Adeniums go in dormancy in winter. After the winter is over and temperature rises above 30 degree C they become active . It`s the best time to repot. Repotting means changing pot size, replacing old soil and timing. None of these can be applied to dormant plants. Many of my plants require repotting but i can not. Still i`m waiting for Spring.Don`t worry.
मेरी 1 friend के adenium मे आधा cortex soft होने लगा है और 1 root सड़ी हूई भी मेने तोडी थी उसकी तो उसका rootball निकाल कर अभी check करे क्या ? कही fungus attack तो नही है?
I had to cut my plant down to Cortex do to freeze damage... I don’t applied fungicide because I didn’t know I had to do that but after a week plant is alive but it hasn’t sprout... I also haven’t watered it because I read so to freeze temps they go dormant. Can someone help me on what to do so that I can get new sprouts ?
I don't know how old mine is. I bought it from a nursery this past summer. Should I be concerned or should I wait until next summer to do this? Thank you 🙂🙏
Sir, can I use bonsai soil mix for adenium plant? My plant is growing tall, it's leaves are very big not flowering nd not making any sub brach. Any suggestion.
Nitrogen level of your soil is high comparing to potassium and phosphorus level.. Repot the plant in a shallow pot with low nitrogen riched soil. Add some bone meal and neem cake to the soil if possible. But don`t repot in rainy season or in winter.
How did you get so many branches when they mainly have one and sometimes another grows out from it? Yours all grows from the bulb? Any tips on this? Thanks.
Good morning, can you make this fungicide? since here in my city I did not find to buy. I live in Brazil and follow your channel and I'm learning a lot from your videos.
Thanks. Nothing to do in winter. Uproot the older plant in spring. Dry in shade for 7-10 days and repot raising the tap root 1 inch above the soil. In spring just repot the other two .
Good information for adenium plant lovers.Fine caudex.

I followed your instructions... Now after repotting how often should i water? Should i water thoroughly or what?
If the plant has produced new shoots and it is placed in the sun, water thoroughly after 1-2 inch of the top soil gets dry.
Superb 😍
great tips thank u!

Is it necessary to put fungicide? Can I leave the cut portion as it is? Thank you for the video anyway!
I use fungicide to protect from fungal attack and get result, So, I think it`s necessary. You may leave as it is but there is a chance of rotting.
Can we do same procedure for 5 inch long 1 year aged adinium...? To make it quadex big..?
Yes.
Good.
Thanks.
pls advise when to trim the branches and follow this procedure ???

Start watering if winter goes away and temperature rises. If you have got fungicide right now use it with water.

Cut down leaving 2/3 bud nods not from the base. And in Spring.
Please tell me what is done with the cuttings? I would personally try to root them. Best method you might have, sir?
Dry the cuttings for 5-7 days in shade. Then put them in sand / rooting medium applying rooting hormone.
