It is indeed a concept album! All of Seven Spires’ albums are part of the same concept-a story about a woman named Solveig who takes on a perilous journey for immortality, faces a sea monster, and kind of becomes a…demon god, I think. At the end of this music video, you can see Adrienne (as Solveig) holding the horned black mask that Solveig is known to wear (most notably on the cover art of the Solveig album).
To follow the story chronologically (not based on album release dates), here is the order:
Emerald Seas, A Fortress Called Home, Solveig, & Gods of Debauchery
HOWEVER, I’m fairly certain Adrienne channels her own life experience, sadness, and anger into the lyrical themes. So while they are not all direct narratives from her real life, they do seem to originate from real life and mold into the story they’ve developed for Solveig (who is always depicted by Adrienne in photos & videos).
I am NO EXPERT, so I could be wrong about some of this. But this is my favorite band, and this is what I’ve learned from their music & interviews!

Thank you for letting me know! I had no idea that it was the same story channeled through all their albums. This is really good to know and makes me want to dig deeper into the lyrics. Cheers 🤘🏻

Didn't occur to me that Fortress is chronologically before Solveig.
Also, while I know she uses music to express her gloomy thoughts, I met her during meet & greet and she's all cheerful with fans. I get that people have layers, but I wouldn't guess that she's the kind of person that matches the lyrics she writes
