Thank you! Concept is really different in comparison to solid body modeling, but in practice fusion 360 is really handy for the B-side of the model. In practice this is how everything built: surfacing for A-side (consumer side), solid body for B-side (internal parts). So, keep your pencils sharp). if I may suggest, I would love to see a video in which you explain your Alias navigation setup and shortcuts. You seems to have a lot of them so they are probably nicely optimized ^^@@alexandergolubev6358
Thank you! As for continuity, - do not stress to much about it. Try to make the rail surface smaller. If that does not work, - try to make rail only positional, and then edge align to g2 with vector constrain to Z axis or normal direction. Should do the trick. If you get dev.1 error after that, - check my correlated video about the topic: ruclips.net/video/jwdTtefeh4c/видео.html and check diagnostic shading. I believe you will not see any discrepancy in the connection.
