I'm going to order! What offset do those wheels have!?
This is the absolute best instructions on how to install your fender flares!!! There's no way I could have installed mine without this video, the installer was very thorough and I really liked the close-up shots, for the slow people like me😁 Thanks REAL TRUCKS !!!
Totally agree! I watch another vid and it sure seemed like he missed a few steps. This vid was much more thorough.
After watching the video about 30 times I finally installed mine on my 2016 F 150. All went pretty smooth. Thanks so much
By far the best detailed video on how to install. Thank you
Nice tutorial easy and straight to the point!
Good vid. I watched another on and that guy seemed to have missed some steps. This was very thorough. Thanks.
Thanks a lot for the tutorial, really helped make this a straightforward install.
Awesome video!! Just finished mine with your help!!! Thank you
Great overall video. But I'd give fair warning to anyone doing this that putting on the rubber trim can be like going through seven levels of hades. ;)
Really helped me out! Used this for a 2020 F 150 fyi! First time doing this kind of work myself and this tutorial was priceless!
I only managed to mess up 2 small part which I was able to resolve with a little creativity ;)
Glad it helped! :)
Great video and well explained 💯
Appreciate it!
, put the stickers on before you mark, you could put blue tape on the fender to give a general location before hand, much easier
really good quality and informative fitting video, thank you.
Thank you for the feedback!
Can you do this with a base model 2018 f150 xlt... It doesn't have the holes for a fender flare... That's on the side
Do you know if this parts fit in a 2008 expedition limited le
How do you deal with the “lane change) sensors behind the front fender?
would you install flares first then mudflaps? or mudflaps first then the fender flares?
What's the color of this truck?
I couldn’t find the grey one on the website
I'm wondering if they gave me the wrong rubber trim. I've done Bushwacker fenders on my Jeep in the past with no issues, but I've been fighting this small trim for a couple of hours and it fits horribly around the edges. Barely lips over the outside edge.
Follow-up: They did package the wrong size trim. A week later and I had the right trim. I still had to do some significant trimming due to my AMP Research Powerstep XL side steps interfering with the lower back portion of the flares. Also, I was hoping they would have been a bit more textured. They are smooth, probably intended for painting.
Would you happen to know the size of those tires? Do they stick out past the fenders or flush? Thanks
35x12.50 aka "Pretend Raptor tires"
Although now that I'm finishing the video, that plastic piece for the seal seating/fitment didn't come with mine 😂
will the install be pretty similar for the Bushwacker extend a fenders? I can't seem to find a video for those.
They install exactly the same, less the bolts of course.
I have a 2018 F150 5.0 and am thinking of adding these to give a more rugged stance. This appears to be the same color as mine, Magnetic Gray? I ask because the fender flares seem to be color matched? I can only find matte black in these bushwacker flares - did you have this custom painted to match the truck? Thx!
Mike McDermott: Yes, these were painted Magnetic Gray, by Bushwacker prior to shipping. While Bushwacker does offer painted Pocket Style Fender Flares in a few different factory colors for Ford trucks, they do not seem to be offering any pre-painted for your vehicle, yet. Our apologies.
Thanks, appreciate it. Also, do you know if the flares on the front will obstruct the camera sensor? My 2018 F150 Lariat has video camera sensors on each side of the front bumpers, so not sure if this flare would fit or not? The sensor is a few inches back from the stock fender, but not sure how much wider these flares arer?
Mike McDermott: These fender flares have Front Flare Tire Coverage - 2". Our Tech guys do not foresee any issues with having front bumper sensors and installing this product .
got any factory flares for that gray 2015 you'd want to sell? bent my right rear backing a trailer in the dark ;)
Hi, Just I did not see in the video what do you do with the holes remains of the factory fender Flare.
Do I cover them with some kind of tape? or do you just recommend leaving them uncovered?
Thank's
Hey Angel, there shouldn't be any visible holes after installation. If there are install holes that were used with the stock fender flares but not the Bushwackers, we'd say it's probably a good idea to cover them with tape before covering them up with the new flare itself. Hope that helps!
@@Realtruck Thank you very much for your reply. Sometimes the answers don't come and that's why I appreciate you doing it. I plan to buy them soon in March. Yes, I was thinking of the tape which is used for air conditioners in houses for aluminum. Thanks again!
What can you do to prevent dirt scratching around the gasket?
you don't!
Not install them. I have this same issue right now. Thinking about removing them and fixing my paint.
What kind of tires are on that Truck?
Those are the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro Tires!
What are the wheels?
Thanks
I bought these off Amazon and the gasket isn't adhesive at all
