I never considered that I could leave a little of the batting and backing to make a square corner. This was such a good video Krista. Thank you ❣ 😊

The best squaring up video out here. I have been looking to see if there was ANYONE who did it correctly ....and all I could find were people squaring up using their borders as a guide. Sooo wrong! You nailed it! The only thing I would add is that a person can measure their diagonals prior to squaring to anticipate any problems and should measure their diagonals afterwards to confirm square. Most of my quilts go to show or competitions and "squared" is imperative. Thank you for showing everyone how to properly complete their quilt in prep for binding.

This was the most helpful method for squaring I have seen thus far. I'm new to quilting and my first was a bit difficult. I'll be squaring my second quilt this week. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this video. I have been despairing over a quilt that just came back from the long arm quilter with some uneven edges. I’ve watched many videos but yours is the first one that showed me how to preserve the points of my quilt. As anew quilter who has never put a binding on a quilt you have helped me very much

Always so informative! Just squared up a large lap last night. I used nine patches in the four corners of my borders and had quilted it with wavy lines about 1/4-1/2 apart. Because the waves were stitch across the bias (didn’t think about that) it actually distorted the nine patch. I had to do some creative squaring with a little tug and pull. I was praying it would be fine! And it came out adorable!
Thank you for all your teachings!
