This is so much easier than laying it out on the floor and feeling I have to cut 1 long line. Aligning to the border inside seam gives me the confidence that it'll be straight from corner to corner. I've come close to grabbing hubbys chalk snap line! 😂😂

This has been so helpful!! I keep hearing "square your blocks" or "square your quilt". I thought I would need a huge table or my floor, but now I know I can do this on my kitchen counter with my mat underneath.

Hi, Thanks I sure enjoyed this Final Stitch it was very helpful for me. I don't put border strips on my quilts, I just make larger quilts. The way you explained squaring borders makes total sense to me. Guess what, my next quilt is going to be done with border strips. Thank you so much, please keep all the weekly tutorials going, love them all. James

I am new and a self-taught quilter. Many of my family members, who live across the country, try to talk me through how to do some quilting techniques however it never translates and I end up with a mess. Your videos are superb! As others have commented, you have a certain calm and teaching technique that clicks with me and I love them. Keep up the videos! Nicely done!

Hi from Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada. I just discovered Natalie’s “The Final Stitch”. Thanks for the tip of using a Square ruler to start at the corners - never thought of that. DUH! I look forward to watching more of your presentations and learning more Tips & Tricks.

Excellent series! Natalie, you do a great job with your explanations. Very easy to understand. I also like the background moderator, too. It makes the series more of a conversation with questions and comments that a person standing there watching you do this would have, if they were there. I also like how the person's query is printed out before you start your demonstration.
