Just because he became Zlatan we know of today doesn't mean there were any guarantees he would. There are many exceptional talents that don't become world class in fact the ratio is extreme. Arsene did it right Zlatan was a 17 year old lad who had talent and he needed to show it to be a one of the best clubs in world that he refused.
Well from a personality perspective it was probably the right decision if you consider the direction the club went in the Emirates years. He’d have been a nightmare if and when he was ready to leave the club

Trials are really for players that haven't played professionally, they're for complete rookies because you haven't got anything to go on but a word from watching them play in a park on Sunday little league.
