I did fail my children in the area of not securing a future for them.
For me, it was my workaholic ways.
I did not realize how so out of tune I was with my two children until it was too late.
My two kids are now 19 and 20.
Although they are both High School graduates, they have not signed up to go to college but I believe they will do great things when they figure life out.
This would not be the case, if I was totally in tune with them at 14 and 15.
These kids were not invested in when it came to their future.
