Im only halfway through the video, but im here for the content, not the bike. I dig your look on life, and your little dumb short form videos that just keep me entertained sometimes. Your one of the first people i memorized the name of to look for your videos, and the first one ive done that with in a while. Thank you for making content, and keep on keeping on 🤟
I think it’s awesome you asked your parents their thoughts, what are parents for if not guidance - even if you don’t follow their opinion, it still helps to talk it out. And keep on with the makeup and nail polish you rock it.
Your dad's funny, he's not wrong but you've got to do want you think is right for you - but people watch your channel for you not the bike you're riding ❤
as a older sister, with strong maternal instincts, please prioritize your safety. we all watch you for you, not the brand of bike you own. stay safe and listen to your parents ❤
This to me is one of the best videos I've seen on your channel. Your parents are solid gold. And agreeing with your mom about you calling them shows you value their advice. I remember not wearing a helmet cuz it felt so free but now you can't get me on a bike without a helmet. I own 2 now and looking to buy a 3rd. It's hard to change how something makes you feel but the tragedy would be not to ever be able to ride a bike with those friends you now have. What holds more substance, just going fast or all the time spent with your friends, your family and your partner. Not preaching but everything your parents said was so valid. I howled when your dad brought up Maybelline.😂😂 Dad is hilarious!
Like your mom said, the fact that you called both of them before buying shows that you're yourself not completely sure if you really wanna buy it or not.
You have some great parents and your dad is funny. Sounds like you are a reasonable person taking into consideration how others feel... Makes me think about some things that I have done...
Dont buy this bike and fund your IRA! Your dad is 1000% right! Once RUclips dries up and you arent making so much money, you'll regret that you didnt fund your IRA.
Already not even 2 minutes and his dad went savage on saying *Ducati can kill you mor faster and more expensively* but I understand, he cares about you Matthew Woods. There's this saying, "Tough Love" 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Bless your parents, I hear their genuine concern. I'd be SO conflicted bc it's something you love. But something that scares them & adds extra stress on them everyday. Think about how they felt coming to the hospital the day you crashed. They love you more than life itself!
You already have a 1000 with the H2. Keep the R9 and the V2 and have a more diverse garage. I am poor and only have a Ninja 650 and a FZ6R but they ride a lot different and I enjoy them both. More bikes= more fun.
This hurts to watch. This kid has a great father. Dude over here trying to buy a bike and not even willing to put 6k into an IRA. At least I was smart enough to fund my IRA and 401K, before getting my first bike. Now I’m 36 with a substantial net worth that wouldn’t exist if I didn’t listen to the people wiser than me. We all learn eventually. That said, I understand the feeling of wanting a new toy 😂
You will be happy riding the bike you are on at the moment. You don’t know how much you will love your R9 and V2 ….. wait and see. Can always buy V 4 later! Plus GO TO the track on the R9 or V2 and have a blast. Love your parents!
Mad respect for showing this. Very wholesome! “He gave me the total go ahead” 😂😂💀 My 2 cents… give it a month if its still in your head so much, just get it.
Honestly bro, I just stumbled across your channel a few weeks ago and I understand the power part but you’ve experienced what can happen(not saying it wouldn’t happen on a 600cc or anything else) but the risk is a lot greater because you are tempted to always go fast. Everyone here is here to watch you and not your bike. Think about it, after you buy a bike and make a few videos on it they forget about it and they come back for you. I can understand riding with your friends and if they have 1000cc bikes I get it and in that scenario, do you just want to show off and say you can keep up because they might say you’re slow? Just stay safe out here and stay alive! At the end of the day do what you do!
You’ve talked in the past about how you can manifest the outcome of your ride. Now your talking about potentially dying or going to jail as the only possible outcomes if you buy it. Take some advice from that you in the past. He’s looking out for you. He would warn you about that self fulfilling prophecy.
I watch you for your responsible attitude towards the lifestyle compared to wild fuzzy helmet riders. Well, your some what responsible attitude lol Your dad is trying to help you with tempering it. Patience is key man. Give it time. Follow your pops.
In my opinion his dad is actually right. I know everyone has their own opinions on it and I also love the new V4. However I feel for his dad because my dad felt a similar way when I had an accident earlier this year.
@ as a dad myself I understand where his dads heart is, but as a son I have to make the best decisions for me despite how my parents my feel about them.
I've known people that's crashed up to like 8 time's and been in a coma etc... and soon as they recover they get another bike . The motorcycle bug gets stuck with you the rest of life lol.
As a Ducati owner, if you have that mind where you’re gonna end up in jail or dead, my advice to you is do not buy it bc if something does happen, you just gonna hurt your parents more and they both love you so ,do not buy it.
love your channel man you inspired me to get back into riding motorcycles after a while of being out of it now im going to start riding again and thats thank to you, how can i find followers ? sorry just new to this and whats the best camera to use and the best communications to use for a bike ? thanks man.
As a person who is fully addicted to riding and owns two great bikes..... put investing first, then buy all the toys. I could afford #3,4, and 5 if I wasn't investing. IMO, the 3 you own and the two on order are not the right combination for you... only buy what makes you hard. Find the right 3 for you that's one of each style you love and ride them. Invest now so you'll never be too broke to own the bikes you want.
Your dad sounds like a wise man. Perhaps you should listen to him. You called him for a reason but yet knew you weren’t going to listen to his advice. Counting on that social media money continuing to roll in isn’t the smartest thing to do.
stop spending money on things you dont need man, you already have a lot of nice bikes, happiness doesnt come from things, it comes from people that you love, focus on that.
Listen to your parents!!!! As a veiwer would i like to see V4 content? Yes. But Matt for your longevity listen to your parents , take a break and enjoy the slower bikes for a while. Please stay safe
Is there any way to buy that bike, and give yourself a tune that limits the power? The other bikes have 120, this probably has like 210 hp. Maybe you could give yourself a tune to either limit it to 160-170, or, give your bike lots of power in first gear, and cut it by 25% in second, 35% in third, and so on. Lower the limiter to 160 or something so unless you get off, you cant change it, forcing you to think to yourself if you really wanna risk it
I’d definitely get the two. just seems like more verity. But whatever you like man also I might be little biased because I like the old v-4 design better.
Dad mode kicking in; I agree you should fund you IRA. I put $1k in a Roth when I was 19, and now, almost 20 years later, it's worth over $10k. Once that's done, THEN get the V4. I'm serious considering the V4 tricolore.
Personally I don’t see the differences between the other two bikes you have on order and this one aren’t much of any different in risk potential. The speeds any of them are capable of are far more than what is safe on the road. It’s you that makes the difference, and your self control or lack of. I have raced bikes and road with friends who would ride on the street at speeds that would race at. I always wear full gear if I’m going to ride harder on the streets, and even then I will not ride at race pace. No ambulances and safety crew at every corner, and on the streets you have cars to deal with, who can’t and don’t see you. Or there may be lose dirt, or oil around a bend that you go down on.
seems fun to see one of the big bikes but we really need YOU to be safe, regardless of if you get the degeneracy bike back :) up to you what you think, and I don't think you or your dad is wrong and your mom is definitely right, you have time either way...even if you decide you really really want the new one, you have time to decide, its not going to disappear forever just because you leave it for 3 months
Maybe swap the H2 for the v4? Seems like its a lot more fun than the H2 by the way you speak about it. Personally have the V2 2025 model before they done the face update and I love it! (although i've never ridden the v4 or the h2 so can't really comment)
The only problem i see with you getting a v2, is your going to not be as happy with it because its 120hp, when you know exactly how the v4 feels, you might regret it a ton.
In my opinion, i get where your dad is coming from, like the R9 and the V2 aren't that much slower to the V4 in terms of street riding and yes, they are overall slower but would you actually be slower on the street or even the track when you could maybe even use more of their power than the V4? You may love the V4, but you gotta atleast try the other ones before you even judge the R9 and V2 saying they're not your type of bike
Guess he’s trying to be a good father and tell you what he would do
As a father myself, I feel for your Pop...lmao! It's like talking to a wall.
they have a V4 lego set now
Still too expensive for me 😥
@ right :(
Your parents sounds so sweet. LOVE the Maybelline comment 🤣
Your dad's just looking out for you! Do what you want, just stay safe!
Calling dad for making a decision W
Dad even went to the eyeliner argument.😂
he skipped the fingernail and "partner" argument
Dude said he got 2 choices...death or jail....wow that's a no brainer to walk away.
Im only halfway through the video, but im here for the content, not the bike. I dig your look on life, and your little dumb short form videos that just keep me entertained sometimes. Bros getting the bike, and he knows it lol
Your Dad makes very good points bro. I don't think he would steer you wrong.
Daddy's boy❤
as a older sister, with strong maternal instincts, please prioritize your safety. we all watch you for you, not the brand of bike you own. stay safe and listen to your parents ❤
Love your relationship with your dad ❤
His dad is 100% correct. He’s definitely only buying them for the channel.
If the channel didn’t exist, he would have 2 bikes max
but then again he wouldnt have access to all these bikes lol
oh we got the FULL phone call… HELL YEAH. Get that V4 but yeah, i think you’re more aware as you progress in motorcycles, and you’re wise.
02:25 "Why don' you, take a....
*instantly puts arm around the bike* 😂😂
Respect his dad so much! He is absolutely right! Nothing like father love ❤️
That bike genuinely looks so sick though, I'd be tempted to buy it too man
Dad just wanna protect his son thats all..
This to me is one of the best videos I've seen on your channel. Your parents are solid gold. And agreeing with your mom about you calling them shows you value their advice. Even Dad knows eyeliner isn't right.
god, that felt like getting ridiculed by my own dad, jesus
This youtube notification made me so happy ehehehe :D
Thank you for your content again!
your dad is a smart man, tell him to open a youtube channel, i'd like to watch him
If there's a doubt, there's no doubt.
Just my opinion I’d say the v2 will be super similar and like your mom said it’s for your friends not for the break neck speed
Like your mom said, the fact that you called both of them before buying shows that you're yourself not completely sure if you really wanna buy it or not.
You have some great parents and your dad is funny. Sounds like you are a reasonable person taking into consideration how others feel... Makes me think about some things that I have done...

I love how relatable this video was🤣
Ok but you could legit hear how happy you were during the test ride 🤌
it seems like you know a bit more on what’s going on but he’s probably js tryna be protective lol. happy riding man!
Already not even 2 minutes and his dad went savage on saying *Ducati can kill you mor faster and more expensively* but I understand, he cares about you Matthew Woods. There's this saying, "Tough Love" 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

U think your poor!? I dnt even own one even tho i am still dresming day to day with a job
Dad for the WIN 😂that's me talking to my kids 🤦♂
Mad respect for showing this. Very wholesome!
“He gave me the total go ahead” 😂😂💀
My 2 cents… give it a month if its still in your head so much, just get it.
Phone a friend
Regis, How about Poll The Audience next.

Take some advice from that you in the past. He’s looking out for you. He would warn you about that self fulfilling prophecy.
Your Dad, sounds like my bike. You didn't need it.
Kid has a lot to learn, but likely thinks he has it all figured out.
I literally only watch you for the fancy bikes, get the Ducati 👍
This can ---- you faster than other ones
I watch you for your responsible attitude towards the lifestyle compared to wild fuzzy helmet riders. Well, your some what responsible attitude lol
Your dad is trying to help you with tempering it. Patience is key man. Give it time. Follow your pops.
HANG UP! Dad ain’t saying the right shit!! 🤣🤣
😂
no way, a "cool motorcycle guy" whos not afraid to show people he loves and respects his parents. thats wild.
W upload bro. Love it
I’d rather have dope lore when I’m a dad then wait for an ira when I’m 50
If I had that convosation with my parents I would continue with the purchase of the two bikes he's got on order and still buy the v4 😂
I personally regret getting the fast bike because the speed gimmick wears off quick.. at least for me
It's funny to watch people ask for advice but not take it unless of course it's what they wanted in the 1st place
Awesome video, i really liked it. Your parents sound like great people. Also... is it your birthday? If so, happy birthday! Hope it is awesome.😊
Daym this vid it doing well, deserves it
I've known people that's crashed up to like 8 time's and been in a coma etc... and soon as they recover they get another bike . The motorcycle bug gets stuck with you the rest of life lol.
You only called your dad to validate what you want. Doesn’t seem like you called to actually hear him
Thats what im doing, investing for my retirement and buying the V4 at the same time. Nothing like having two bikes!!
My guy did this video to flash his fancy new nails. You’re not fooling anyone
GET THAT SHIT! You only live once!
You only die once, you live every day until you dont.
Take em on a ride with you 😊
As a Ducati owner, if you have that mind where you’re gonna end up in jail or dead, my advice to you is do not buy it bc if something does happen, you just gonna hurt your parents more and they both love you so ,do not buy it.
When it’s your time it’s your time. That can happen if you’re riding a motorcycle or walking down the street!
Its not the bike that's dangerous, its the rider.. 😊
love your channel man you inspired me to get back into riding motorcycles after a while of being out of it now im going to start riding again and thats thank to you, how can i find followers ? sorry just new to this and whats the best camera to use and the best communications to use for a bike ? thanks man.

Maybe get the new v2 or v2s, then see what the new v4r will be like or if you’re still even interested in any v4 at that point
Buying in winter is probably a bad idea unless you are definitely heading to California
Just live to make more content and enjoy riding with your friends. You aren’t even 30, there will be better Ducati’s every year.
Your dad sounds like a wise man. Perhaps you should listen to him. You called him for a reason but yet knew you weren’t going to listen to his advice. Counting on that social media money continuing to roll in isn’t the smartest thing to do.

What's with the close / apart / close body line behind radiator support?
Get the v4 bro!
Just a question, has your dad ever rode or is riding rn?
Is there any way to buy that bike, and give yourself a tune that limits the power? The other bikes have 120, this probably has like 210 hp. Maybe you could give yourself a tune to either limit it to 160-170, or, give your bike lots of power in first gear, and cut it by 25% in second, 35% in third, and so on. Lower the limiter to 160 or something so unless you get off, you cant change it, forcing you to think to yourself if you really wanna risk it
“This is where self control comes in.
Cmon you I not good with that.”
So anyways why shouldn’t I get a new liter bike mom?
I’d definitely get the two. just seems like more verity. But whatever you like man also I might be little biased because I like the old v-4 design better.
You can never have too many motorcycles, it’s like underwear or socks!
This the most privileged video I’ve ever seen too good of a back ground he comes from
Dad mode kicking in; I agree you should fund you IRA. I put $1k in a Roth when I was 19, and now, almost 20 years later, it's worth over $10k. Once that's done, THEN get the V4. I'm serious considering the V4 tricolore.

Great choice son. Great choice. You're only young once.
How do you afford all this man?
seems fun to see one of the big bikes but we really need YOU to be safe, regardless of if you get the degeneracy bike back :) up to you what you think, and I don't think you or your dad is wrong

that was such a cool video
3 bikes plus 2 on the way now this one so 6
Why call him and ask if you’re going to ignore his advice.
Id like to see the R9
The only problem i see with you getting a v2, is your going to not be as happy with it because its 120hp, when you know exactly how the v4 feels, you might regret it a ton.
Are you planning on buying a Ducati Diavel?
In my opinion, i get where your dad is coming from, like the R9 and the V2 aren't that much slower to the V4 in terms of street riding and yes, they are overall slower but would you actually be slower on the street or even the track when you could maybe even use more of their power than the V4? if he just drives without Maybelline he will be fine 🤣🤣
