Whitney's voice is a human treasure.
Dead or alive, she is for sure the best female voice in music history.
Whitney Houston was a born star. she was a gift from mother Nature The golden standard of a females voice. everyone wishes they could sound like her, men and women. The world's greatest singer.
Whitney is a master of all the techniques, 1) resonance, 2) Vibrato, 3) Colorature 4)inflections 5) scaling up and down 6) natural 7)falsetto or soft soprano for a woman 8) throat, diaphram and head singing 9) Crescendo and decrescendo and breath control 10) staccato and perfect diction
In her prime and even after no one could touch this woman! Look she didnt need a stage full of props and dancers all she needed was a microphone and it was BOOM welcome to the Whitney show! She was one a kind and there will never be another person with a voice like that! I truly believe she was a once in a lifetime gift from god!

Thank you for posting this video.. my uncle sang back up for Whitney Houston for 12 years. He’s singing here.. he’s since passed away but this brought me down memory lane. Met Whitney so many times and her voice in her prime was unmatched. Thanks for memories

Arista was her record label. Clive Davis. The industry didnt know what to make of Whitney in those early years. They knew she was not your average singer. Who the hell is this attitude! Whitney brought real vocals back to music.

Whitney is the greatest. This was right before she released her 3rd album I’m Your Baby Tonight, and a couple of years before she released her massive, historical album The Bodyguard. Whitney was phenomenal in the studio often singing songs in one take but live she took it to a whole different level. This crowd was boring but Whitney had already performed that night singing The Greatest Love Of All so she was in her own zone having fun and dancing even if the crowd was stiff.

The record is an 80s song this performance was in 1990 the song was released in 1987 . That night she was performing her hits because the 90s decade had just started she hadn’t released those 90s hits like I will always love you, I have nothing , I’m every woman, exhale (shoop, shoop), I believe in you and me , heartbreaker hotel , not right but it’s okay , my love is your love , I’m your baby tonight , all the man that I need etc . So her hits that performed that night were from 80s decade

She always reinvents herself because she never wanted to be accused of lip synching so she doesn't sing a song like the record and she changes it up so you know it's live

Hi, thanks for your comment. The reasons I stop the videos are twofold. One is that RUclips will NOT allow me to publish the video without doing this. RUclips's copyright algorithms detect the video/music when uploaded and immediately block me from publishing it. The only way around this is to pause and, occasionally, even edit out some of the music. It's very frustrating but unfortunately the only way I can upload my reaction videos. The second reason, is so I can flesh out my ideas as they come to me rather than providing a summary afterwards.
