I’m an intj and one of my best friends is an infj and I can confirm we work But that also makes me feel like I’m not good enough to be her friend, or that or friendship is meaningless to her but I find that in relationships where I feel that way towards the other person that means I truly care about them
Speaking from experience in past friendships, the conflicts between the two types can become very heated. It can work if the two people maintain respect, keep an open mind, and don't attempt to force things on each other. However, in my case, I noticed that the INFJ was emotionally abusive and thus cut them off. Though, that likely doesn't stand true for all. The INTJ will be primarily logically focused on what makes sense for the situation and secondary focused on their values, whereas the INFJ will be primarily values focused on people's needs and secondary focused on their internal logic. Conflicting in both regards unless the two function groups tie together in a situation.
infj hot and cold behaviour drives me crazy and also gaslighting. INTJ is honest but INFJ is not...being around an infj is like walking on eggshells, but their interests are very similar.
I can confirm that us Infj builds get a little too attached to principles and arguements, but maturity is always a must when talking about values and morals. Sometimes we can get just as immature as commonly mature.
