I'd like to see a cook where you fill the grate with as much meat as possible to see a real life example across a long cook. Placed my order today and cant wait for it to come in!
A 1/2" griddle plate in the fire box would be a pretty sweet addition. Especially if it could be made in a way that "sealed off" the top opening but still allowed smoke to enter the cook chamber. How nice would it be to be able to toast your buns for pulled pork?
Say no more friend! I will see what I can come up with! Because in theory the plate could slide in where the grate slides are for the firebox grilling grate.
@TheSmokinRedneck exactly. It may take a little thinking, and trial and error, but some type of side skirts and some way to close off the gap at the door, with a lighter sheet steel, would very do-able.

Wanna see this on a brazos with a cook and no stack extension. Want to get one just wanna see it in use on the brazos
