As a licensed airplane pilot and a VERY early adopter of drones (before you could just go buy one) I always get so excited to see these videos. What I wouldn't do for a chance to fly this aircraft.
Stay hopeful friend, the owner of jetson said these things are selling like hotcakes, with the amount of money they’re making, its almost certain they’ll become more available to people like you or I
@@redjaypictures4528 I sure hope so! I'm a full time single dad. I don't have a huge bank account but I have a happy, successful child, lol. I think that's better! Although, some toys come along that make me think hmmmm now how important is her going to college, really? 😂😂
…Would you eat a Klondike Bar?
Problem with this specific model is survivability. If just one motor fails, you’re in big trouble, violently twisting out of control. No ability to at the very least, autoroute like a traditional helicopter and definitely no ability to glide like a plane…
@@Av-vd3wk I might even eat two!
Love the Blade Runner vibe 😍. Incredible. Still think so many open blades need a protective bezel.
Can't wait for the instant fatality videos. Actually. I'll pass. But they're coming.
Yup....one bad landing and one blade would CUT U IN HALF!
They won't do it cos it's extra weight that is not structural and they have to be strong to not break when colliding with a person, otherwise it could be even worse with flying debris. They want more battery time and not having guards saves weight for more batteries. The trick is to make the guards around the rotors load bearing in structure, omitting most of the extra weight. Maybe a single piece carbon fibre bodywork would do it.
@@Justwantahover if made of carbon fiber, the weight would be negligible to flight time.
Wait… that’s where they got the “blade” runner term from?
I'm getting cool Vangelis/Blade Runner vibes. Nice work.
Yes, really great music in this video!
Came here to say this 😍
Do we know what the music is?
I Love Jetson ♡♡♡
It's beautiful.
It's wonderful.
What a time to be alive, *thank you* ♾
😍 All I see is *'WipEout'*
Need this in my life.....lol Love this thing.
I don't think it can get any cooler and Jetson puts out another video!! I'm in awe each time I see this thing performing... every little boys dream...
Music, shooting, technology are so .... ? Like my dreams of the next human era ... Magical ... Rachel where are yu ?
Great stuff guys. This is the blueprint for future travel. Forget self driving cars, the air is where we should be going. Keep up the great work
Uhm..no. Jetson's tag line is "Everyone is a pilot". The reality however is "most people are idiots". So imagine the skies full of idiots.
@@jamescrud Don't you have a sense of fun ? Just imagine the fun you'll have dodging the idiots.
@@jamescrud imagine the crime wave explodes after the gangs will acquire these machines
@@jamescrud Easy fix, No manual flying, its all auto-pilot from a central AI driven air controller. But I agree people are idiots, they can't manage 2 axis movement, giving them 3 axis would be a very bad idea lol.
Serious BladeRunner vibes with this music! On point!
yeeeeesssssss
Great tribute music. May he RIP.
I'll never have a chance to fly one, but I love watching these videos!
Can’t wait to see what you guys do in the future.
Perhaps The police will control you
Two years of making videos. Very impressive!
Everyone is a pilot ❤️🤝🏻
saving my money now ...seriously.
my all time dream !
GO GET ‘EM JETSON!!!
Hello c vraiment de toute beauté .. Bravo continuez ... Stéph de France ... A très vite ..
When I see this aircraft, all I can think of is the SNL sketch "Farewell Mr. Bunting".
I need a Jetson One. super cool.
cartel are going to love these things
Airplanes and drones like self driving cars and autonomous cars are important.
Nice!
The future is now.
50+ drone builds now, drive Lambos Sur Rons, Elec. Skateboards, and an R1... I am TOTALLY ready for this. I'd even rename my son Elroy and get a Great Dane and call him "Astro" 😂😂
I need one
Imagine you a free to fly across a river or a deep forest before arrive at your work, it would be a wonderful motivation.
You work that close to your home?
I'll drive that to work! Better yet I'll make a pod to hang bellow it.
Non male, da acquistare assolutamente ma, attenzione, non tutti possono essere dei piloti!
Love the Blade Runner music
夢のような理想の乗り物ですね
Can't wait to buy mine!
One of the great joys of flying is looking down on the earth from a great hieght can the jetson do this.
Great invention
you can watch forever. future, future, future
I cant wait to see where this company goes, and future products
we are finally starting to see that future stuff we always wanted
Most wont see this
@@SCAMDEMIC2023 what do you mean? It's literally right there
@@ch3cksund3ad I mean as a mode of transportation my friend.
@@SCAMDEMIC2023 It's not even 100k and this is the first edition. How many sport cars do you see frequently on the road? Tons! I guess another issue could be regulations though.
Dammit! I really really don't want to fall into the trap of liking this but... I like it. And I don't care what anyone says and all the arguments for yes or no. I think it's cool. That's it.
One day!!
Просто супер! Вы приближаете будущее👏👏👏👏👏
Jetson is created by polish - svedish designers
I don't need it.. I definitely don't need it..... I NEEED ITT
This is so cool
Very nice.
Eagerly waiting for upcoming video and here it is, awesome one!!!! ❤️
These videos need to be longer!!
So Cool
THIS IS THE FUTURE !!!
Sounds a little bit like Blade Runner...love it
As a mechatronic engineer and an aeronautic enthusiast, i am so excited about this! Reminds me a music from nightwish (walking in the air).
Great. I'd love to have my math checked. By using the typical efficiency of drone rotors, and the type of batteries they say they use, I have calculated between 2 and 4 minutes of flight time (depending on the weight of the pilot). One of the people in the comments has said called the company, who said it's 3 minutes with an adult male. Their website claims 20 minutes, but, the only way I can make that math work is by not putting a pilot in it at all. Care to check my math?
Soar with envy. Ty.
I want the recreational/boondocking version of this so I fly from lake to lake to state campground to town for groceries. You know, an Earthbound space craft.
Of the top two models for sale now! And $ not an issue! Hands down this is it. I see the Ultima "Razor" of freedom.Ty
this is the best in the world thing in its class . miles decades ahead of others . i dont understand why they arent every where alredy
Let's count the ways... (1) Because no nation's aviation authority is going to let these things fly around in public places. (2) Because very few people want to pay $92K (plus taxes and shipping fees) for something like this, when they can use that same amount of money to buy a brand new paramotor, plus an ultralight, plus a nice used Cessna on top, and have money left over... (3) Because I calculate only a 2-4 minute flight time (with a person onboard), you can't really do anything useful with it.... Should we go on?
Way COOL!!!
thats awesome. Once a drag chute is put into the design. mass produce this thing. THis is really really amazing!!
I'm soooooo buying this... Idc, am just broke right now... But i will!!
The name's Bond; James Bond.
Can't help but think that with longer battery life what an excellent search and rescue vehicle this would be.
Like a helicopter?
@@neilhintz8785 no, helicopter's wouldn't be able to go in certain places. Even though your correct. Jetson would be able to get down lower in more tighter place. Plus choppers are expensive as hell to operate and far more training.
@@leonardanderson8072 microlite helicopters are small, cost effective, safe in the event of an engine out, will carry much higher loads for far longer distance and flight time.
I fly autogyro, better again and can be fitted with jump take off.
@@neilhintz8785 true, but autogyros can't hover in tight places. Don't they need forward motion? The overall foot print of Jetson is still smaller than the micro chopper. You made very good points. I believe there is a good use commercially for this. But it looks like a moot point till a lot longer battery life is available.
@@leonardanderson8072 I cant even fly the jetson, just over max weight but I can fly for hours on a tank of fuel in my autogyro.
This is the blade runner song? Love it
Quando eu ganhar na mega sena, vou comprar um desse
Why no acro!?!? I’d be flipping and spinning that thing like crazy!! Get me to an air show with that thing!!!
Enertia comes into play when you scale to a human size drone, when you try a flip you will most likely lose control and crash.
I’ll never be able to afford one of these, especially now but it would be a dream come true for a lot of us if we had $90,000.

Magnificent One 💯
I'm only 17 with no money to my name but hopefully by the time these have better flight times I will have enough saved to purchase one myself
this makes me wanna buy some land, so i can fly freely when i get it
Yeah JETSON FLYİNG MI 👉😀👈🧞
The Future
Epic!
wow when this tech more mature then we did not have to cut the tree and build many concrete road as we did now more park and green space
As a avid FPV flyer, I would love a opportunity to sit in that and fly. Feel what its like to be my quad flying thru the air.
It would be nice to see a squadron of these in flight. Keen to know when you plan to fit the laserblasters. And announce the first dogfight.
I love it guyz ❤️
I Respect you from Pakistan 🇵🇰

Awesome ✌🏻
super trabajo
Wow, look so great!

Great shot! Inspiring
WTF I want one, so genius ! From France 🇫🇷
In addition: sound of the blades .. did you work on that ? Adding parallel protruding lines vertical to the surface of blades opposite side of the direction of wind may reduce their sound

Then please explain what keeps the moon in orbit around the earth.
@@DavidLS1 that’s all your curious about ?
@@ErocNelson88 I'm also curious about why you wrote 'your' instead of 'you're'. And by the way, it's the earth's gravity that keeps the moon from flying off into space.

Best motivation ever to lose weight.
My one question is... have you been to the 400ft ceiling for drones, and does it pertain to what you're doing. But mainly, have you been high up in it yet?
Since Jetson's craft is manned, it will most likely fall into the FAA's designation of “Experimental Aircraft" until they (the agency) come up with a new way to restrict them; of course, then they'll require some kind of costly licensing to use it too. It's new and fun so it's pretty much guaranteed to get regulated to the point where it becomes so prohibitively expensive to own/operate that only businesses and the very wealthy will be able to afford/use it. It's sad, but also true.
@@online247365 There is a little truth to what you are saying, but you largely have no idea what you're talking about.
@@DavidDavid-jb1cy Well then, enlighten us please, David. How high can they fly?
@@online247365 I even gave up getting a simple remote controlled drone for photography because the regulations and restrictions are so onerous that it became pointless and useless for the sort of photography projects I had in mind
@@DavidDavid-jb1cy Well come on then, Mr. “FAA". Tell us all about the rules that you know backwards and forward regarding a craft type that didn't even exist the last time the FAA revised the rules. 😏 I'll wait... I have several friends who have built their own aircraft which are (mind you this is ONLY according to the FAA) classified as “Experimental Aircraft". Of course, their homemade planes are able to fly above 400ft. because they are, of course, airplanes (duh). These airplanes do not employ a propulsion system that “pushes" against the ground to maintain their altitude unlike the Jetson. Since the videos so far show the Jetson flying/hovering fairly close to the surface (as evidenced by the disturbance to the plants/dirt beneath it as it passes) so the OP's question is a valid one regarding maximum altitude and my response to it, jealous as you obviously are that you had nothing to contribute made sense as well: Since the craft, which is obviously not a drone because there IS an in-craft pilot and not controlled remotely, rules for drones likely won't apply. BUT, because this is not a typical single-prop homemade “Experimental Aircraft" (used pretty much as a catch-all for anything not bought already fully assembled) and looks to employ a jet-like propulsion system and is capable of vertical takeoff and landings, it will likely fall into that catchall until such time as the FAA figures out how exactly to regulate it; there's no chance they'll leave this in that category for long, allowing anybody with the know-how and enough money to operate one without some kind of a pilot's license. Go on now... School us, oh wise one. Dazzle us with your in-depth knowledge and behind-the-scenes firsthand knowledge of the inner workings of the FAA and your insight into their yet to be published rules regarding this specific type of aircraft. 🙄 We wait with baited breath for your infinite knowledge to be poured over us! 😜
Wow. They are almost sold out for 2023 only 3 are left. Almost 17 million in sales. These things are selling like hot cakes!!!

I would love to start a dealership selling these here in Georgia, USA.
Glad you guys are posting flight videos, these people with a sport bike looking one have been taking money not posting a thing for years
Love it, can't wait to get one!!!
I imagine obstacle avoidance software is going to be as expensive as the drone platform itself
No the Tesla autopilot system comes in at around 8000 dollars. That was the price 5 years ago probably much less now and in volume. Also a raspberry PII can probably do visual avoidance. Some DJI drones offer a basic obstacle avoidance.
It’s literally built in to the system already. As well as a parachute and they can fly with one motor completely gone. Look on their website.
