Hi Jason, great review my friend. I’ve fitted the hunt couplings to my 125 sets and the only issue I had a first was the couplings breaking when you try installing them. I think they need to look at the quality of the plastic they use. Now the issue I have is the magnets seem to have lost a bit of strength and I’m having issues with the train parting every now and then. The trains run great for the first six months. Keep safe and well my friend Andy
They could be stronger if the magnets were powered like automatic couplings. I will keep the original bars in my model. In fact, I need to run. It has been stopped for several years.
@@BarnabasJunction Those hunt couplings would not drag 2 x bachmann (221) virgin voyagers! the magnets don’t even look strong enough, I’d advise anyone with 2 voyagers (2x221) to just use the magnets on the last 5 cars as the front 5 cars would probably just disconnect n i will at some point give these hunt couplings a go as they do look nice to be honest great video by the way
looks like a great product. is there ones that work on the flask cars? or ESSO tank cars? how do you think they would work in the helix? can ya add a link for general purchase ones, and I can see if the deliver please.
Not sure but very possible Sparky, you would best take at look at the website - www.westhillwagonworks.co.uk or drop them a message via their FB page - facebook.com/WestHillWagonWorks I am aware they do post to overseas.

Thanks for sharing!
Have you made any drivetrain/motor mods to improve the running? Lovely layout
Not mods done as of yet but a do plane to fully DCC it in the future. Thanks for the kind comment

What Virgin Voyager do u have
It the 1st edition, 5 Car Bachmann Voyager
Alright I thought I’d ask if it was the dr who set
Each bachmann 221 virgin voyager only requires 4 pairs not 10 pairs just thought I’d mention that
You are absolutey rigyt, plenty of spares in just 1 pack.
