Hey great video and much appreciated. I agree, there needs to be more musical videos with the Poly D. One of the best videos I saw which made me buy the Poly D was by a gentleman named Moot Booxle in which he is a great synth player. This is a great synth for the price. I'm glad it's in my arsenal.

This synthesizer is as customizable as one wants more.
Behringer Poly D doesn't have the perfect sound of the minimoog, because Behringer doesn't want to have problems with moog.
For that he gives you the option to hack the synth and be able to calibrate with a Minimoog.
For example, the filter can be tuned to the original 1970 sound, to make the dioids act more informal.
The envelope can be much faster than the standard one, but also slower, and the LFOs can be hacked as well.
The hack is given to you by behringer on the rear panel of the Poly D module and with the screwdrivers you can achieve the unmistakable sound of an Original Minimoog.
Also the synchronous modulation wheels and adj. it can accommodate better with the screwdriver, but few do the tutorial for the user, they just test the synth without doing calibrations with an original and show the sound it can make.
I have the original minimoog from 2016 and the Poly D, I bought this Poly D to play in concerts and live and make very elegant pads, while the original sleeps in the studio to never take it out of the house. They both sound great.
I have a Waldorf Blofeld keyboard + Waldorf Pulse 2 module, I bought this combination a few years ago before the pandemic, and I can only say that it is crazy to be able to combine them.
Pulse 2 gives all the fat analog sound that a digital synthesizer like blofeld does not give you and it is a minimoog clone with a 24db ladder (skelter) filter, although there is a trick, because Pulse 2 is octaphonic, it has the capacity to play 8 simultaneous notes , it can make all the classic pads and it has 3 identical oscillators with 8 modulation slots, presets, editable arpeggiator to create sequences that can also control the blofeld at the same time.
This alternative of combining a synthesizer with analog presets with a digital one is incredible, it was recommended to me by a famous deep house producer and I couldn't be happier to make really strange and impressive sounds.
I recommend this alternative to people who do not have much budget and achieve a truly professional sound with equipment from a great brand.

    • @inperfectsequence7840

@@SlavaChrome Yes friend, it's easy to do:
I rented an original minimoog from a professional store in my city and just for one afternoon and managed to calibrate it using the Korg Nu:Tekt NTS-2 Oscilloscope.
First I recorded both in audio to know the differences at the time before and when it was more correct and sounded more identical I recorded audio again to be more sure.
And that's how I did everything.
      recommendation note:
We all know that a minimoog does not sound the same as another minimoog, because they are artisan machines and their circuits have their derivations with subtle differences, my configuration would not be of much use to you, although I could surely do it without renting, having a good friend who has a minimoog could help you.
      greetings
