- Join me in Finland with Mobil1 for an adventure taking a brand new Porsche Cayenne S from Helsinki towards to a lubricants plant to discover more about the making of Mobil1! To get us started it's collecting the newest generation Cayenne from Porsche Helsinki where we can take a walkaround ahead of a test drive to tell you more about the car and what it's like.
The car in particular is actually completely brand new and naturally given the conditions it's running on studded tyres - a new experience for me. The latest gen Cayenne features many new pieces of technology and systems, as well as a 440PS 2.9l twin turbocharged V6.
For this journey we head West from Porsche Helsinki towards Naantali, where tomorrow I'll be visiting the Exxonmobil plant to learn a bit more about how base oils are turned into the end product that's used in the engines of our cars. It's fair to say that the Cayenne is a very appropriate car for this drive so let's find out a bit more.
If you are wondering, the car was so new it had not yet received its official and final number plates so the temporary plates are fitted behind the windows - normal procedure in Finland.

Absolutely loved the Cayenne S when I had it while my car was in for servicing. I had the previous Diesel 4.8 V8 and it was so quick. Brilliant engine and so so practical. Now they have given me a 718 to play with for the week!! Porsche do such a good job of selling experiences :)

The all new Porsche Cayenne S with the all new Nokian Hakkapelitta 9 studded snow tires... Absolutely unstoppable combination in the white stuff, would be cool to see how fast it accelerates and decelerates to/from 60 mph off road in the snow or something, thats a perfect ski trip set up

I dont like the unpainted plastic bumper , the lower part
Its quite good to have in finland where theres a lot of grime and road salt etc. in roads and you dont want ruin the paint on such an expensive car

The new rear of the Cayenne is a real eyecatcher 😮😍 I really like the new interior and exterior elements since the Panamera got launched 👍
I hope there will also be a V8 diesel available very soon. My absolute favorite are the Turbo / Turbo S and GTS models but the power of the "normal" S model is also enough . 😘

Finland has Europe's third oldest car base. On average cars are over 11 years old. This is because of cars costing crazy amounts so very few people buy new cars.
I have my first car right now and it's a Saab 93 from 2000. It's even tuned to over 300 whp on e85 and yes I daily it even now dunring the winter. The car has no traction control.
So how do you like it here in Finland?

Entirely agree about the curse of touch buttons in cars. It's a marketing move, and a huge back-step in terms of practicality and safety. Voice control - ok, but better is at least gesture control.
All that Cayenne needs is bigger rims and better looking ones as well and a more aggressive front bumper

It's so strange. I just finished Doug Demuro's 2018 Navigator review, and to me that car seemed 100x more luxurious and better in every possible way besides the actual badge. This new Cayenne looks so plasticky in comparison, I'm actually shocked. Great video Tim!

I am the biggest Porsche fan EVER and that’s because they are (for one point) absolutely beautiful and i am also honest and not blind liking it and the Cayenne just looks not good (also Macan) the Porsche look just doesn’t fit to an suv
