They brought the game to PC, let you put your framerate to 60+fps, let you put your FOV to 120, let you centre your crosshair, let you move your view models, added 3 new maps to a 14 year old game, added new weapons from ODST, added skins for weapons, skins for vehicles, new armour pieces, visor colours, a switch to disable new content for an OG experience, added challenges, a battlepass with no micro transactions, and have even released official mod tools for the community to do their own thing with the game. Not to mention all that is just for Halo 3! I think 343i are in a better state than Bungie are currently

I love seeing Halo content from you again. I will say, I play MCC a lot and I rarely have any trouble finding matches. I have a discord where we all play together on Thursdays (sometimes Fridays and Saturdays too) and the population has been plenty for that. Maybe it has something to do with the time of day you played or some region thing. That is not to say there aren't gamemode/game combinations that not many people play, but rather most of them are decently filled after work hours and especially on weekends.

Fun Fact: Lockout is a map from Halo 2. It is a square arena with a small room in the back, a small 2 story structure in front, and towers on the east and west sides. There is also a lower level that basically covers the entire map, an even lower level that only covers part of the map, and some room on the tower. Blackout is a Halo 3 remake. The Pit is a Halo 3 map that looks like a warehouse. It mainly has two roughly similar sides. At the east side their is a set of hallways with a small room. At the west side there is a pathway with large rooms connected to them on both sides. On roughly the middle of each side there are small towers frequently taken by snipers and noobs who think they can use the turret. Valhalla is a Halo 3 BTB map widely considered the best BTB map. On each side there are bases that look like the bean emitters from CE. Around the towers are vehicles for each team. In front of the south base is a river that runs to the middle. On the east side is a set of side cliffs. On the west there a caves and a crashed pelican. In the middle in between the bases are large amounts of hills, rocks and that river. Guardian is a Halo 3 map that mainly consists of a circle arena. On the north side is a small tower with a room below. On the west is a tree area. On the east there is some rooms and halls. On the south is a large room connected to the east halls. A hallway run below the circle arena connected the north and south side. Swat is a game mode where headshots are automatic kills. You spawn with the battle rifle. A three round burst precision weapon that you spawn with in a lot of game modes and is the best weapon.
