One of my favorite things about Homestuck music is that they all start and end completely differently, with different tempos, and different feels, but occasionally you just hear the melody almost all of them share, and you feel that emotion rise up inside as the familiar tone triggers all the memories you have of reading Homestuck.
Gcat's purpose in the story is to answer the question of who Earth 2's First Guardian is. You know there'd be a thousand more nonsense theories about it otherwise. No reason to begrudge free information.

The pacing is terrible, keep jumping for plot to plot without cohesion like the older acts, the newer characters aren't as interesting or as developed as the older ones, others are just plain unnecessary(seriously, fuck Japrosesprite). Lots of characters end up with incomplete or unsatisfying arcs, and the ones that they were developing are thanos snapped thanks by the retcon, we also stop with many old staples of HS, like the children naming or the funny alchemizations and other things. The art also gets really bad overtime.

At first I thought it was Bec and Puppy Bec. Now I see that its G-Cat. And YES IT SOUNDS SO MUCH LIKE OKAMI. Fitting since Bec kinda looks like a wolf.
Charmi the Eevee It could also be an electric flute. You can make a flute "electric." Look up Led Zeppelin's Black Dog played with the electric flute and you'll notice similarities. :)

Can we stop talking about what vibe of another game you get from it? (God, GCat and Becquerel. Ignoring the GCAT rule with chumhandles and DNA and so forth, I love the idea of them in a sort of cycle between Alpha and Beta so much.)
Sounds like maybe a pokemon mystery dungeon, or zelda type level...reminds me more of an rpg of some sort though XD I kinda hear Okami though...maybe if they had done something more with the forest...it feels very foresty.

+Kyndall Thompson honestly? "You don't need him" feels really freeing to me. It's Terezi accepting that she doesn't need to be with anybody to feel whole. To me, the saddest lines have to be "Good dog, best friend" (only in retrospect, because of Bec :,( ) and "Sollux?"
UnchainedWispy nope! as far as I can tell, im sure its the ankle that's bending, since dogs paws are pretty awkward sometimes, and honestly sometimes can look broken or something, so im pretty sure its just the paw bending slightly

I love the simple idea of this music and of the two guardians. Equal, dog and cat, two sides of a scratch... It's profound, and I love it.

I love the nasal-y sounding flute around 2:24. If it's possible to play like that on a flute, it must be really, really hard.
